Does anyone know what quarter the camera man was asked to leave?

There was a thread last night about a guy giving information about the jets sideline saying that he was being chased away - was he the camerman?

Conspiracy Conspiracy

I just looked up the thread (From the Bench) and it has been MOVED.

Conspiracy!!!!!

is that Bill Belichick will be pissed - at the jets, the Packers, the league, whatever. Give up a draft pick, fine. Call us on something MOST teams probably do - okay, go for it. Now we'll just beat teams into submission.

Uhhh, if that Pats are that good, why would they need to steal calls???

And here he is. The first Doofin fan to claim that the Pats are cheaters.
Took you long enough.

I said that Pats are chearters????

Did I just imagine you saying that "if we're so good, why are we stealing signals." clearly inferring that the Pats have to steal signals to win.

I mean, you did say that right?

Here's what really aggravates me about this whole thing. Assuming the NFL comes up with something deemed against the rules (remember, the tape is in the hands of the Bill Polian council, of all people... expect the worst), it's not the loss of draft picks, or the talk of the domination of the Jets being done by cheating (hell, I'd be willing to spot them that game to make this go away). It's all the momos coming out of the woodwork, talking about "tainted rings" and "asterisks". Especially among the haters, this gives them the ammo for speculation, wrong as it may be, about everything this team has accomplished over the past 6 years or so. And we haven't seen the brunt of it yet, but believe me. It will come from within the media, as well as the fans of every other team around the NFL. Even though the only proof that may exist is from this year and possibly last, that won't matter to them and the questions WILL be raised. At this time I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, as a long time fan, that these tapes and allegations will amount to nothing. But there is a very real possibility that they will finally get the guy they have been going after year after year after year. And knowing that, I will be extremely disappointed with Belichick, or whoever authorized this, that he would even risk the possibility of "tainting the legacy" in the eyes of the rest of the world. And for what? This team is the best in the NFL.

I am a bit worried for some of you who are sure its not true. So long as not everybody turns on the team if it ends up being true.

Here's a different slant that I haven't seen written before. You would think that in this age of advanced hi tech, if they were cheating, it wouldn't have been tad more sophisticated or subtle ( fish eye lens on a micro camera) or robotic with offsite monitoring to avoid getting caught red handed as is alleged????

Sorry, call me slow, but I don't know how you steal signals by videotaping the coaches. First, how do you know which coach is sending in the signals. Second, once you figure out which coach is sending in the signals (if you do at all), how do you process/break down the signals/information and get it to the players.

None of this makes sense to me.

I disagree, I hate hearing this crap and I hate hearing the HGH shi*. We won 3 titles and we were/are the class of the league and however common some of this stuff is I hate hearing about it/knowing we are cheating and hurting our image. let them hate us for being good and not for being cheap.

I couldn't agree with this statement more.

It was not too long ago that we were known as the class of the NFL, and even the term "Patriot Way" had a meaning of 'the right way to do things'. Our team was known as a bunch of blue collar players that all bought into a team concept, and executed with little self regard for personal accomplishments.

Now we are the ANTI-Patriots

cheating with HGH, and now cheating with spys

What kind of hypocrites are we to just overlook these as "tricks of the trade" and not see through our own biasedness.

I hate to pull this one out, but sure enough if this happened to the Colts we would be ALL over it. In fact, there were many here who complained about Miami stealing signals last year. People, how is this different? oh ya, I forgot, because it's our team this time.

Funny....the team complained about Miami's stealing of the signals..but they moved on..They did NOT make a big deal out of it like mangina has done. AND I am sure they could have...and it was a third party I believe that broke the story..the Pats had nothing to do with it. SO If you wish to bring the Miami story up at least get it right..It was if anything a footnote and CoachB did NOT go running off to the league complaining.
Jealousy and envy is bringing a LOT out..and fans are seeing teh haye in big ways now. There will be more..because the haters are out there digging up any and all things.

If the Patriots didn't complain about Miami it's because they do the same thing.

Big difference is now all teams have been warned again that there will be consequence for aiming a camera at opposing coaches.
If then Patriots did this straight off this season, it reeks of arrogance.
The Patriots SHOULD have known that there would be people out to nail the Ptriots for this.
And IF it's true then I'm seriously pissed at Belichick
for creating a distraction and bringing a cloud over the team and it's players.

From top to bottom this whole issue is ridiculas, why do teams have multiple coaches sending signals into the game, because they know the other team is watching so they have fake signals. If its aginst the rules to have video equipment on the sidelines then fine the pats should be punished with in the rules. But if people think other teams are not trying to steal signals they are fooling themselves. Parcels said on espn this stuff has been going on for decades, so this amounts to sour grapes.
So whats next Brady cant use the hard snap count because he might confuse the chargers. There are all kinds of tit for tat stuff that goes on in sports, so now we are gona go run and tell the teacher that Billy is pickin on us.
Good greef!

This whole videotape thing is a ploy by BB to get inside of the opponent's heads. Just another case of Belichick being Belichick.

!

Just curious. Did Parcels call it "sour grapes" or is that your addition?

Is it a ploy to piss away (possibly) a 1st day draft pick, embarass the franchise and the players he's supposed to be leading?

If Belichick directed the employee to NOT film Mangini and staff knowing they'd be looking to nail him for this violation that Goodell wants to crack down on, then it's funny as hell if nothing shows up on the tape.
That's good BB humor and a big haha to Mangini.
But if Belichick continued to have his guy filming Mangini and crew expecting to forever get away with this, then it's unbelievably stupid and very costly for this team.
If I'm a player, I'm pissed that focus is getting away form legitimate accomplishments.

You use quotations and you don't even bother to copy paste so the quote is proper. To answer your question, no, I didn't say that, read it again. The subtle difference, is a big difference. I was posing a question not making an accusation. Basically asking a rhetorical question!
