She is an inspiration. Plain and simple.

She should be the one speaking at these NFL rookie symposiums and not ****heads like Cris Carter.

Issue is that is a complete waste of her time.

Anyone who knows my uncle Randy "zip" Pierce, the blind guy with the dog you see up on the jumbotron all the time, he finished Boston today in a little over 6 hours. Lots of inspiration today from all runners so well done and congrats to everyone who crossed the finish line no matter your time.

Entire time reading the survivors stories consists of me holding back tears. This woman is amazing

Hi Pazrul,

A long time ago Zip had a Pats Page blog which I enjoyed visiting, and occasionally posting on his board. I think it was in the Oswalek days (his service dog at the time, I know I'm not spelling that name right), it was in rhe pre-Brady timeframe. I can only imagine how much joy these past 16+ years must have brought him. Anyway he is an inspiration himself, even more so reading your post today. Full Tilt Full Time for sure. Please let him know that he still has many friends and fans among us Pats fans.

Warm Regards,

"AQPE"

Yeah he did have a page pre pats fans that was pretty awesome. That guide dog was Ostend and he has had two guides since the mighty Quinn and his current lovely lady Autumn. Despite not seeing the game he is extremely knowledgeable with more insight into the game then anyone short of a coach. I talk to him pretty much once a week and the last 16 years have brought him some amazing joys. He has been to two super bowls and was fan of the year in 2001. The sad part is gotohell is killing his love of the game just like a lot of us. If you want to see his latest endeavors check out his charities website www.2020visionquest.org Running Boston is just the latest. Running marathons, climbing mountains, tough mudders he is just a crazy inspirational person. Key word being the crazy but I love him for it and am unbelievably proud of him.

That picture is inspiring as hell. Thank you for sharing such an awesome story. What a guy he must be.

And I have a feeling that TFB draws inspiration from just about everything. He is truly a once in a lifetime player that we're all lucky to be watching.

I seriously can't get through the "Brady 6" without standing up and yelling "that's 'my' effing quarterback right there" at least once or twice, and it's normally during the emotional parts. I love the story, the obstacles that he overcame, the drive to keep pushing, and the fact that he still feels it that much to this day.

I marvel at our #12 and his desire to continue to push his body and excel on the field, his drawing of inspiration from these folks only makes me like him more.. a lot of athletes tend to be somewhat aloof when it comes to this stuff.

Yeah I love that pic it's one of the best ever. He certainly is a lot to live up to "so why aren't you out doing stuff?" ummmm cuz i'm fat? Somehow doesn't fly with the blind guy in your family being ridiculous. That said the insane number of people's lives he has touched is something I can only marvel at and I am so grateful to have him in my life.

Well, you can certainly add me to the list of people that he has inspired, as well. Thank you again for the share.
