Manning deserves props

I'll say this with the field position Denver had for a good part of the 3rd quarter and into the 4th a good QB would have put that game out of reach. I'll give him Kudos for giving the Pats a chance.

Hats off to Wade Phillips. They took away short middle routes and with the onslaught they brought on Brady it's no short of a miracle the Pats were even in the game. So I'll give Manning kudos for allowing the pats a chance.

He gets props for putting up a Dilfer-like performance by minimizing mistakes and letting his defense win the game. Nothing wrong with that, but don't pretend his performance wasn't mediocre - 50% completion rate and under 200 yards.

Denver can't run the ball and their QB can't throw the ball downfield. They better hope their defense can contain Newton because if they can't, it's a 45-10 game.

**** manning and this ****ing game **** the super bowl **** every ***got on the broncos and if your a broncos fan reading suck a **** ya aint winning super bowl and ya ***got ass qb gonna retire this season and next season ya team is gonna go.back.to sucking **** i dont give **** so lucky i wasnt around any broncos fan i would of whooped the **** out of somebody i dont a **** im type thatll beat the **** outta somebody
Hopefully when you're sober tomorrow, you'll be embarrassed by this. If not, you need to rethink life a little.

I will give him props for willfully allowing Kubiak to turtle him in the 2nd half to protect him from making any big mistakes. I mean that genuinely...part of me expected him to try to take something that wasn't there in this game if for no other reason that to prove he was still PEYTON MANNING, and get burned for it. Unfortunately it was our guy that ended up forcing some errors, but that's what playing from behind can do to you.

Manning didn't win or lose the game for Denver. He managed the game competently, at home, with a lead. Denver's D won that game. They were awesome. Still, I can't see this Bronco team winning the SB with this offense. I think they're going get pummeled by Carolina. It's an NFC year.

I live in the Denver area, and Bronco fans are going to be insufferable the next two weeks. They're similar to Jets fans only dumber (and that's saying something), in a midwestern kind of way. Complete provincial rubes with a huge bandwagon following. Kind of like the pink hat brigade, but much, much worse. Lord help me.

Here is a crazy thought...most years I am dissatisfied with BB the GM and think highly of BB the Coach.
This season, I feel different. I think BB the GM did a great job building this defense and creating depth all through the roster.
I am just upset with BB the coach as he screwed up the Jets OT, did God-knows-what for the Miami game, and of course, I disagreed with going for the 4th down plays.
Sadly, we will never know what he was thinking as he will just say, "I did what I though gave us the best chance to win."
