I noticed that too. The Ward hit was, as he was turning to look downfield right after the catch. He didn't have time to react... Jeez tho, with all of these comments by the Jack a55es, I'm REALLY starting to dislike them. And they talk about crying??

I am worried about Gronk in this one. The Donks are a dirty team and I expect Ward to go low often.

People who think bill will suspend Gronk because of the Welker thing are way off base. Bill was pissed at Welker because he sees Rex as his peer and has respect for him. He didn't want to be seen as the coach who is fine with his players disrespecting other teams head coaches. The whole "foot fetish" thing had nothing to do with Welker and Wes went out of his way to embarrass Rex unprovoked. Gronk had a throwaway tweet responding to players who he knows go after his knees and have intentially tried to hurt him in the past. Apples and oranges.

EVERYONE knows how the Patriots operate. They don't give ammo to the other team. Outside of one errant Welker comment it has been pretty much 100%. And generally speaking teams that start opening their mouths in the press are worried.

As far as Klis? Just another stupid and/or calculating sports media guy in a ocean sized cesspool of a profession.

This is the kind of week that really makes you miss having '03 Harrison on the team. He would be foaming at the mouth already, we would have Manning face 17 minutes into the game, and Demarius Thomas would be getting collected like Humpty Dumpty.

Honestly, this whole thing is a non-story. It's typical media quote-mining. They are trying to manufacture a story to add intrigue to the game. Harris not saying anything nefarious, he's just alluding to what you described above -- a defensive back is not going to take out Gronk by hitting him high. Taking his words so literally is a little unreasonable.

I know we want to vilify the the Broncos, that's just part of being a fan; our team is filled with the "good guys" that play the game the right way, and their team is filled with the "bad guys" that are evil and up to no good. At the end of the day, that's just a narrative. I'm sure the Broncos message boards are having a field day with Amendola's hit on the punt return from last week, citing it as an example of how dirty we play.

The Broncos are an undisciplined team. They have regressed and were lucky with an easy schedule and got to play the bungles with no AJ Dalton to get a bye, the banged-up Steelers. I'm really not concerned with this game. They will make mistakes

Every DB In the NFL k.ow this is the only way to bring him down..sad but true...and ward will be going low..scumbag

Every single DB in the league - including the ones who play here in Foxboro - are trained and coached in similar techniques for situations where they are so overmatched physically. I am not saying they are all coached to go low with the intent to injure, but they are certainly coached to go low in certain situations with the intent to tackle.

I don't like it and I certainly don't want Gronk or anyone else to get injured but it's smart football, certainly smarter than letting the guy carry you for 10 yards.
