Colin Cowherd ridicules the idea that Aaron Rodgers is comparable to Tom Brady

Career it is Brady no question. Right now it is fairly close but give me Brady. Brady right now is playing the position the best I have ever seen it played perhaps. If that was 100/100 Rodgers is at worst 95/100.

Keep him mind he is having a great season too without his top weapon. With Nelson his stats would be better and they would be scoring more PPGs.

Rodgers is the best QB who has come in the league since Brady and it is not close. Give me Rodgers over both Mannings, Brees. Ben, and everyone else and I don't even need to think about it

A healthy cowboys team's probably the team that can beat green bay in the nfc. I don't know about these other teams. I don't feel arizona can do it. If carolina can add a wr then they could do something

rodgers is a great front runner.
dont think he has many game winning drives/4th quarter comebacks! the media loves him though, and will always hype him to no ends.

rodgers already has more one and done playoff seasons then tom..
538 did a piece on this. Basically Rogers is always conservative to avoid the interception, even when a risk is needed to win the game.

Skeptical Football: The Aaron Rodgers Enigma

It’s when the quarterbacks’ teams are down 9 or more points in the second half that you really see the difference. Peyton Manning throws interceptions on 15.6 percent of his drives, compared to Rodgers’ 8.1 percent. And for that, Manning is punished … by winning 28.6 percent of these games. Rodgers, meanwhile, wins 0 percent. That’s right, Rodgers has zero comebacks of 9 or more points in the second half. Ever.

I don't know if all that is right, but it's an interesting perspective that seems to make sense. And it is odd that he has so few comebacks given how good he is normally. Been down 21 times by nine points, never pulled out a win.

Wow, this is a side of Aaron Rodgers that I wasn't tracking at all. I was one of those that would put Aaron Rodgers (right now, not career) on par with Brady, but I'm definitely going to reevaluate that opinion.

Give me Luck. The guy is a future HoFer. He can do no wrong. Brady throws one INT - but that was ALL on him, not #11 ridiculous lack of catching and punching of the ball... Luck : all his INTs are because he has a weak D. There are many other examples of why Luck > Brady + Rodgers. I just don't have the time to list them all.

I agree with Cowherd, but he's not the most unbiased source when it comes to Aaron Rodgers. Years ago, before Rodgers became Rodgers, Cowherd, on his radio show, was constantly going on and on about how he didn't see anything special about Rodgers, and didn't buy all the hype. Of course, now Cowherd has had to eat his words after Rodgers has become one of the best QB's in the league, but to me this shot at Rodgers stems from him being proven wrong about how good Rodgers would be.

So while I agree that Brady is better, I take anything that Cowherd says about Rodgers with a grain of salt.
