Jay Glazier: His Steelers source feels they lost because of the headsets

Steelers don't win because their organization is a culture of whining, crying and making excuses.
They're big whiney babies.

I hate glazer. He always brings out anti pata insights. Even the jets tripping incident, he got atape showing the pats do it too.

Showed it just before the Pats played the Rats in the playoffs too.

Impeccable timing Jay, someone could almost think that was intentional.

Patriots have lined up I believe on the sidelines, but no one has ever stepped on to the field or bent a knee to intentionally hit a gunner or KRer.

According to Glazier, his source said that there are headset issues all over the league but "this was different" and only happens in New England. The source said they heard on the radio broadcast how they were making the personnel mistakes, but the source said that the reason why they were having personnel mistakes because they couldn't communicate from the booth to the coaches.

It must be true. Have you ever know a 'source' to lie or use the opportunity to obfuscate their ineptness with the aid of a story-starved mediot? It's beyond fathomable.

Glazer is the Perez Hilton of the NFL.

Wouldn't his vitriol be better served by blaming the group that was in control of the headsets???

Maybe the Steelers staff missed the memo about the NFL them.....

Can't Tomlin say that the Steelers were outcoached and outplayed in all three segments of the game???...
Phases of the game.

Mr. Wanna be MMA fighter has been hit in the head to many times.

Someone please tell me when was the last time anything this dingleberry said was relevant?

Ridiculous...just ridiculous

I didn't listen to the radio broadcast, but did Zolak say the Steelers should run a double pass play or advise Ben that there is an unwritten rule that defensive lines are not allowed to shift presnap on the goal line?
I did listen to Zolak and he definitely told Pittsburgh to miss two field goals.

Apparently the Steeler coaches need someone telling them through their headsets that Gronk needs to be covered. OK then.
Maybe they were hoping the refs would tell them as the refs told the Ravens who not to cover.

"Our program is built on competition and working hard and not built on excuses."

- Never said by anyone on the Steelers.

There's a pretty big difference between what the Jets did and what Glazer claims the Patriots did, but that didn't stop him from making the comparison.

There are rules about who can be on the sideline area closest to the field. Having the strength & conditioning coach and practice squad players there is against the rules, having them trip an opposing player is far worse. They were there because someone on the Jets staff, probably Mike Westhoff, dreamed up a way to impede gunners who run out of bounds to avoid being blocked.

Glazer claims, based on this article, that the Patriots players were forming the same "wall." The Patriots offensive players can be in that area of the sideline. They are there because they are about to take the field. There's a video at the end of that article, but the quality is terrible. From what I recall, the player who stuck his foot out was Hochstein.

That's a jerk move by Hochstein, but it's closer to what Tyler Brayton did than an organized formation, like the Jets. Also, unlike either of those two incidents, no one on the Patriots tripped or hit anyone.

Also, it wasn't really a surprise, but Glazer dug around or was directed to find this play. He didn't put in the safe effort a couple years earlier to find out if any team suspected their signals were being taped by a non-Patriots opponent.

I agree with this source. I listened to the patriots broadcast. I distinctly remember Zolak saying "please ignore the very large man wearing that number 87"

f@@king cheating Cheatiots...... Bwaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaa

The name of the game is to get everyone looking at what the Pats are doing...so nobody sees THEM (and what they are doing). Ho hum...
