At first, it was an article on cnn. Then, the site address accompanied the article. Twitter, massive updates... This guy surely isn't doing this for giggles is he ?

Maybe he has an eye on the commish job? Maybe he just sees the huge injustice for what it is? Maybe... just maybe.. and this is me dreaming a bit here.. Judge Berman can appoint him the new neutral arbitrator?

I think a lot of people looking at this story have been saying "There's a real story here, and it doesn't involve Brady or the Patriots. Why is no one looking into the NFL's behavior since January?" Dowd may be that person.

I caught the segment which didn't really add anything of value.

They had Sal Palantonio for the "other" side as well (and he sidestepped the non-correction of the 11 of 12 footballs much better than Goodell ever has)

But it was all fairly basic (for what we've been dealing with). Dowd really wasn't talking about the meeting today and was strong saying they didn't even have any evidence (which commenced into a brief conversation of how did we get to this point. Dowd felt the whole investigation and ruling should have been settled in a few days).

The commentators did seem pro Patriots and the better moments were the few Jets/Geno stabs they got in at the end. A "typical" Jets comment when talking about what happened and then one of the commentators made a joke that Geno tried to throw a punch back, but it was intercepted.
