Russell Wilson blames Tom Brady for his first argument with Ciara

I call out skeptics who belittle a believer's faith. Sounds like a backhanded ad hominem there, 27. Try again. Without employing logical fallacies this time.

No, I'd only dislike someone who appears to be a religious Zealot, and publicly and openly says that the almighty God was talking to them after a play in a football game. Its insulting to even think about, with all of the famine, disease and death that is spread out across this planet and someone who is literally living just about as good as it gets short of a billionaire thinks that God has time out of his day to talk to them about a FOOTBALL GAME?

Sorry, he comes across as a self-righteous jackass to me and that opinion won't be changing any time soon.

How do you know God doesn't talk to him? You just confirmed my earlier assumption, his religiousness is the reason for your dislike.

Thanks.

A professional actor should have the skills to be a great celebrity. A professional athlete, however, really should only be held to the standard of being an adequate one.

I think Wilson's belief that he had an actual conversation with God is ridiculous, but so what? He hasn't been obnoxious about it.

I actually think the bit with Ciara is fine. But if you think it's a failed attempt at humor -- so what? He isn't paid to be an expert comedian.

I respect people who talk to G-d. I worry about people who think G-d talks to them.

Orthodox guy goes to his rabbi, says "Rabbi, I worry about my son. He wants to do whatever the other kids do... he wants to dress like them. He wants to eat cheeseburgers like them. He wants to dance, boys and girls together."

The rabbi nods his head, and says, "I had a son - he did the same things. Then one day I find that he's dating a non-Jew."

"So what did you do?"

The rabbi nods sadly, and says,

"What did I do? I asked ha shem."

"Did He answer?"

Again the rabbi nods sadly.

"Well what did he say???"

Rabbi says,

"He said, I had a son..."

Let me clear this up..at no time ever has Russell Wilson held a conversation with me.Now excuse me...I have a C beam light show about ready to kick off at the Tannhauser Gate...

"GOD" is not generally used as an abbreviation for "Gloriously Opinionated Drunkard".

Pretty sure this is the first Blade Runner reference I've seen on Patsfans, but I hope it's not hte last.

actually, I'm dyslexic...in reality I'm a DOG with a wooden leg..a cross between a Weimaraner and a Shih Tsu...a Woodei-shihtsuo_O

And people wonder why these guys don't talk to the media?

Russell Wilson is a footballer and that's it - why do people care so much about being invested in their own perception of these guys' 'personalities' - do you really think Russell Wilson cares what you think about him?

I'm as atheist as it gets - and do find the 'god talked to me, god wants ME and MY team to win to be utterly absurd' but give this guy a break - football fans get more and more TMZ every day.

Brady stole Wilson's SB title, now he's gonna steal his girl?

Outrage coming soon...
Would have been better if Malcolm Butler stole his girl ;-)
