The Raiders announced the passing of Ken Stabler from complications stemming from Colon Cancer. I remember him in the 70's n that infamous playoff game against the Pats. Always "hated" the Raiders but always respected the QB play of Stabler. RIP

I didn't know who this was so I was worried for a second PatfanKen was dead.

The ultimate party animal. Anyone else remember Wickedly Wonderful Wanda???:)

LOL
There's a line in the " When Harry Met Sally" movie where Harry's character goes out with a much younger woman. Latter, Sally asks how the date went n he says not so good. "I asked her where she was when Kennedy was shot n she said "Ted Kennedy was shot?"

I'm giving away my age, but I remember him as a great competitor. RIP.

The SOB broke my heart after the sugar bear roughing call....drove em down and it was game over.

Rest in peace Kenny snake stabler.

RIP ... Ken ... he was like so cool to us kids when he was playing - enjoyed watching him play.

It took a long time for me to stop holding it against him...but, really, what was he supposed to do, say, "Um, excuse me, Ref, but Sugar Bear didn't rough me, it just looked that way?"

RIP. A real competitor.

"Rest In Peace" has got to be one of the strangest terms there's ever been.

So you're suggesting zombies merely suffer from postmortem insomnia? ;)

Looking forward to the day this announcement is about Jack Tatum.

Yup, Stabler was a tough SOB to play against.

Looking back to the day this announcement is about Jack Tatum.

I fixed your post.
John David "Jack" Tatum (November 18, 1948 – July 27, 2010) was an American football safety who played ten seasons from 1971 through 1980 for the Oakland Raiders and Houston Oilers in the National Football League.

RIP Snake

Agreed. Who wants to rest peacefully for eternity? I'd rather be doing things in the afterlife.

The Return Of Vicious Fnord...2015. Opening right here tonight....get yer popcorn ready...
