Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
Many questions about Tom Brady’s appeal & how it went down. It may come out eventually. But confidentiality order might mean we have to wait

Sounds like Rapoport is conceding this one. Schefter wins again.

Kinda feel bad for Ian. Dude is trying to be a Schefter a Woj, a insider. And dudes hands are really tied right now..

Sounds like they both testified, but IF only Wells did - and they were there 11 hours - then that means it was all investigating the grand inquisitor.

I don't think that's what happened, mind you. But if that were the case I would not know HOW to read it.

Edit - just re-read the tweets. Yes, it was only that he didn't speak to media. But wouldn't that be cool if it were 11 hours of grilling Wells? :)

Just crazy....

If Brady's suspension is lifted either through this or court, I can't even see how the ultimate fine (draft pick+) can stand. I know they are different entities but if Brady is found not guilty here, there's no grounds for two scrubs to take a little pressure out of a ball. Not that there was a ground for it to begin with....

Lots of ways it can happen. Samples:

If Goodell somehow overturns the suspension completely:
"After hearing Brady's evidence, we believe it is more probable than not that Brady did not know that deflating was going on. However, the Wells report proved that the two Pats employees were deflating. Therefore the Patriots' penalty stands."

If Brady gets it overturned via the Legal system:
"We respectfully disagree with the conclusion, however, we must abide by it. However, as we do not agree with the conclusion, the Patriots' penalty stands."

And these are just the "rational" ways....

Morons on CSNE still spouting the lines that Brady should "take his medicine"....
Proof they're all agenda driven hacks: Borges, who's as big a pro union guy there is, often talking about how his father was a union bricklayer, is siding w Goodell here vs the NFLPA...they're all such f&cking frauds....

Why would you not turn off the TV the second you see Borges face?

Let me guess after they did the "take his medicine" segment they moved on to "his legacy is damaged"

We already knew they were complete idiots, this just adds more to they're legacy of idiocracy

This post would have been a bit less ironic had you used the word "their" correctly. :D

20 says poppy flies out to left going for the game tying bomb. K is alternate ending.

Alternative take - Brady gave his testimony via sign language. Rumor is that interpreters were confused by the frequent use of double middle fingers as it is not a common sign used.
Ironically, that's the one sign language sign I understand. :D

There are like 13 people chanting "Let's go #RedSox " It sounds so sad.
That just illustrates how pathetic the Sox have been recently. I wonder if frail John Henry is wearing ear plugs so the "Free Tom Brady!" chants don't hurt his ears. I kid you not he did that after our 2004 World Series win.

Tom Werner was probably leading the "Lets go Red Sox" chant again.

But wouldn't that be cool if it were 11 hours of grilling Wells? :)
