Because I think we could go on and on about what Brady could end up doing this year with the fire that's being fueled underneath him. :)

But my big bold prediction: Jamie Collins will take over the NFL this year and not only be a Pro Bowler, and not only be an All-Pro player, but will be one of the finalists for DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR.

Where's the rocker emoji when I need it? I sure miss having it for the above statement. ;)

I think in the Patriots defense where players are asked to do so many different things it will be hard for him to win DPOY. Generally the winner stands out in a statistic. I do agree Collins will be a beast, especially with Spikes and Mayo freeing him and Hightower up to be more of a playmaker. If this Wells kid pans out as a coverage LB that would allow Collins to roam.

Not so much a bold prediction for one player but the Patriots will have 3 players who register 8+ sacks this season.

He has the ability no question. I do think that a healthy Mayo allows BB/MP to move Collins around like a queen on a chess board.

Here is mine- CB position will be fine.

Getting a healthy Mayo back with the additions of Spikes (I'm not a huge fan of him but he is brutal in run D) and Fletcher can only bode well for the possibility of Collins and Hightower roaming the field a little more. Imagine the type of player Collins can become if he remedies some of his pass D deficiencies! #Geebus

They split Gronk out wide in the red zone several times a game in man coverage. He ends the season with 40 TDs.

Tyler Gaffney becomes a three down back and accrues over 2200 total yards from scrimmage.

EDIT: changed "3" to "three" due to posters' confusion.

Belichick will request to have the PSI of an opposing team's footballs measured at the half of a cold weather game... (I know it's not a player, but it's something I hope Bill will do)
