Yeh but if your innocent why not?
Dear God. I hope you're kidding with this.

If you were the NFLPA, wouldn't you advise your player to NOT turn over e-mails and/or texts to the league?
Not the ones that were using team-issued phones (which at least some were).
The league let the 1st half of the AFCCG game with 'probably' illegal PSI balls inspite of receiving the letter from grigson. How much does that tarnish the league ?Huh. Even Florio thinks that despite the report's protestations there was essentially a sting happening:

The only issue I'm disagreeing with is the suggestion that it was due to worry about famous peoples' numbers getting out.
So what I don't undertand and as a life long Pats fan, why does everyone think Brady is telling the truth? it is certainly possible and likely probable that he lied all along to us and Kraft. Why do folks assume Brady did not have a hand in this. Sorry but when the baby is ugly maybe you should call it ugly.
I'm having a hard time with this to be honest because I have defended them since spygate and now I feel like I have been betrayed. Probable, most likely etc. etc. but let's face the music, it doesn't look good.
Yes. Had he agreed, the report would have read something like the following:
"We asked for Mr. Brady's phone. He was uncooperative, only giving us selected texts instead of allowing us to look at the phone in order to ensure we were getting all the relevant information".
Maybe by that time he finally figured out that the investigation was nothing more than a witch hunt.Yeh but if your innocent why not?
I just got done reading most of the report. Mind as well been written in crayon. For the life of me, 6 months of investigation, and on a payroll for this garbage is just a laughing stock. And what's sad is only an innate idiot like myself would actually take the time to ready the whole thing. What's sadder is that your average hater/reporter or sports fan won't read a page of this thing to comprehend how actually bogus this report is, but will spout off in their own article, tweet- message board-conversation on the street about how egregious Brady and the Patriots are. How they should be fined, loss of draft pick, Brady suspended. I just wish people would educate themselves before they spoke about things they know nothing of. It's hilarious in a way, but very maddening to think some fans or writers, broadcasters like Shannon Sharpe would speak before knowing the facts, or lack there of. I mean how can Sharpe be so offended so quickly after the report was released? It just took me 2 hours to really digest the preschool nursery rhyme. How long did it take him? Stick to football Shannon. You are only there because you have a big fat opinionated mouth like Warren Sapp. Karma came for him. Hopefully it comes for you too pos.
Earth to everybody:
The Colts had under inflated balls too. In the same game.
Period.
Unless this is the Twilight Zone, that's conversation over.
I don't understand how texting Jastremski is proof he knew McNally. Wouldn't texting McNally be proof? And of course he contacted the guy in charge of the balls right after they were questioned. Who wouldn't?
Might as well say Ted Wells contacted McNally so Ted Wells clearly was in on the conspiracy.
Maybe I missed it in skimming the report, but I don't recall seeing evidence of the chain of custody for the Colts' balls.
Now, see, Ray, you're now looking at the evidence, and coming up with a counter theory. That's not the same thing as the evidence not being evidence, but at least you're getting closer to grasping the obvious.
I posted a nice, easy to understand, definition of "Evidence" just a few minutes back. Go check it out.
Agreed. It is totally reasonable for Brady to refuse and I don't have a problem with him refusing.
But in light of the offer the investigators made, it is also IMHO disingenuous to say "oh, the reason he did that was because he was worried about his contact list, or raunchy texts to Giselle, or whatever being leaked".
Maybe Brady thought Wells would print texts to his mother. Is that too far fetched? The only issue I'm disagreeing with is the suggestion that it was due to worry about famous peoples' numbers getting out.
As I stated up front, it's Brady's right to make that choice. I have no problem with it, although I can certainly see why Wells did.
Lol, Borges gonna Borges. I feel bad for the dude at this point. Could you imagine not only being *that* ugly but also have to live life in that constant soup of negativity?Same newspaper..different headlines
Couldn't Brady's attorneys just as easily sift out incriminating information as well? He'd be damned if he did and damned if he didn't. He didn't turn over his texts and messages so he's hiding his guilt. And if he had turned over his texts and messages after his attorneys vetting, the haters would be saying the attorneys removed everything incriminating. The NFL only wanted information pertinent to the investigation, and even allowed Brady's attorneys the opportunity to sift out any information that wasn't relevant. It's his right to refuse, and that's what makes our country great, but it wasn't about leaked numbers from Mark Wahlberg, or naked pics of Giselle.
Maybe Brady thought Wells would print texts to his mother. Is that too far fetched?
The NFL publicly said they would eject Marshawn Lynch from the NFC Championship Game if he wore gold cleats. A one-game suspension for gold-freaking-cleats. Link: http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...hawn-lynch-pete-carroll-russell-wilson-011815
I'm just a visiting Seahawks fan, but after reading a lot of this report and all the text messages in it, Brady deserves to be suspended for a good number of games. Sorry, most of you won't like it, but too bad. Compare what the league was threatening to do to Lynch in a critical playoff game FOR THE COLOR OF HIS CLEATS to what everyone now FACTUALLY knows about Brady from this report and there is literally no defense in favor of not suspending Brady.
Fact, not opinion.
To deuce, responded to your "evidence" post off the cuff. Don't hate me?
Btw, are you a lawyer? I always get that sense from many of the arguments I've witnessed you in over the years.
