Is he cheap?

Yes, he is.

I waited on him and his Party one night at AppleBees.

He told me that if I took good care of him and'is Crew, he'd give me the best Tip of my Life.

I provided phenomenal Service, of course, and as he walked out, he handed me the Credit Card slip, folded over, and admonished me to wait to unfold it until he'd left...so of course I eagerly waited until he left.

My Tip?

Scribbled on the slip, in lieu of Monetary Reward:

"Never play LeapFrog with a Unicorn."

That bastard.

Good Advice, though. :)

Dennard for Mathis + 6th.

Hell, sure: Why not? Who needs CornerBacks in today's NFL??

I love the idea of trading for or signing a solid OG but...

Mathis is 33 going on 34, coming off of a major knee injury. And as Sciz says he's making $5.5 mil. That's up there for a Guard. And he's "expressed displeasure" in his contract. In other words he wants a raise, maybe an extension too. No way do I give a 33/34 year old anything coming off a knee injury any kinds of salary guarantees or bonus we're going to have amortize for a few years.

One more thing. He may have been as good or better than Mankins...once upon a time. But I'd be really surprised if he's near that now. Unless someone means the 2014 version of Mankins.

coming off a knee injury...... sorta. He missed the first half of the season last year, but still graded out as the 2nd best guard in the 2nd half of the season per PFF.
Mathis has been better then Mankins for about 4 seasons now. Mathis was the best guard in the league from 11-14.

Trade for this BEAST!!!

Mathis is a mauler. Him and Solder would be dominant in the run game.

In 2013, the Pats went heavy on college WRs in the draft/UFA......and shelved them all for vets in 2014.
In 2014, the Pats went heavy on college OL in the draft........will history repeat itself in 2015 (Stork being the monkey wrench to my thesis).
Given what has transpired in the NE secondary, I fully expect NE to be in high scoring shootouts for many of the games and I would like an experienced beast in the middle taking pressure off Solder and keeping Brady standing. The Brian Waters example is right on the money. The upgrade Waters delivered was impressive and necessary. Would be nice to have a sure thing on the line in '15.

Callers in Philly are adamantly against the trade, particularly in light of the Eagles picking up both Murray and Matthews

Perhaps if you learn how to count ~ or grasp English ~ someone might give a damn if you're "sold" yet

Dennard is irreplaceable. He was phenomenal last season.

Mathematics is universal. I read that he had accepted an offer for 5 years and 26 million, my mistake.

Certainly English is not my first language . Nevertheless I try, and I think I can communicate here. But if it bothers you my errors , the button to ignore me is always helpful.

Your sarcasm perhaps fits your personality, but where I come from it is very easy to be funny behind the anonymity.

Enjoy your day.

Don't let anyone get you down, most Americans can only speak English, and you speak/write it better than a large percentage of them as your 2nd language!

Impressive stuff if you ask me

Your English is perfect. OTG's Applebeees memories have obviously put him in a bit of a surly mood today.

Signing Mathis would also give us more flexibility on the draft, most of us expect a double dip at guard, one earlier and a developmental one late, with this move we can get either a day 2 guard or day 3 if they believe Fleming can step up. To be honest Wendell played well at right guard during this season, off course bringing in some young fellas is in order, both Wendell and Connolly are serviceable players but we can definitely get some upgrade there.

The RB situation is still unclear, if they wanted Ridley back he would be already signed, looks like the market is really low for him, I though BB would offer him 1 Mi dollah but looks like is veteran minimum tops. Before the FA I was totally in favor of drafting a RB high, now I think other needs surpassed this one.

They also went heavy on TEs in 2010 and that worked out. The RBs selected in 2011 did OK in 2012 as well. If you add in Fleming last year, the misfires at WR in 2013 look more like anomalies than a trend.

BTW Evan Mathis is exactly 3 days older than Vince Wilfork. Just saying.

Mathis, by the way, is an awfully good Offensive Guard. I've been a big Fan for a long time.

If this Report is true ~ who the **** starts a Thread without a Link?? ~ then it's genuinely exciting News.

Here's the Link that should've been in the OP, by the way. :)

Hey, thanks for signing every one of your Posts.

Curran saying Pats aren't in on him.

Curran saying Pats aren't in on him.

Either smoke and mirrors or they're looking to the draft. One other thought, Shelley smith is a FA currently and we had him in for a visit around this time last year.

And you manage it quite well...I don't get the impression, however, that it's intentional. ;)

I will append, though, in case the lazy response of another to your post gives others the wrong impression of my own: I had no idea of what your first language is, nor do I care, though I applaud your efforts to master a second one: It was the sloppy and frothing nature of your previous posts, containing multiple blurts of Gibberish and spectacular Factual Failures, combined with a bit of Arrogance, that elicited my response.

I don't often call folks out on such things, but I don't believe you were having your best day.

I do look forward to reading what you post in the Future, though. Peace.
