Ant the Number One reason why the balls were deflated
1. They were on their way to Cincinnati.
"Really the play of [the game] was Malcolm Butler getting back up off the ground, tackling [Kearse] and getting him out of bounds or he could have easily gotten up and scored," Belichick said. "That saved a touchdown and created the scenario that came after that."
Typical Colt's fan.Letterman claims to be a Colts fan but he knows jack about football.
Gray wasn't a rookie and Blount was clearly the better option. Not sure why that's such an issue for some.He likes vets, always has. If you're a rookie and you're late for a meeting, you get your **** slapped. If your Revis, you apologize and play the whole game.
It's always been this way. You earn your right to make a mistake and a rookie needs to earn it over the years too.
Case in point Butler. He didn't start, but his play in practice and all year gave him a chance. Gray had a great game. He also had an extra lineman and a fullback in front of him.
He treats everyone different and there is a veteran to rookie pecking order.
If you listened carefully enough, you could pick up that Letterman thought it was possible that the Colts deflated the football and then accused the Patriots.

Actually, I think Bill went with Blount simply because he had that "Let me show Pitt. what their missing" fire burning and the Colts were the perfect victim. Frankly I don't think it mattered much which RB we trotted out against that pourus defensive front.Of course Belichick didn't give us a straight-forward answer, but I'm continuing to think that Jonas Gray's disappearance really was all just because Blount was deemed to be the superior player.
Obviously you know there are none but is he really a rookie being he was on his 3rd team in 3 years? Please post his stats before 2014, including the Patriots stats.
I've seen Colbert 'off character' and he is just as funny.
The man is brilliant.

Letterman will be nice to BB. And BB will be charming. He'll have one-liners ready, I am sure of it.
..isnt the super bowl mvp suppose to be on one of these late night shows?

Edit to add - interestingly he's only 1 year younger than Gronk.
