Acknowledging that JG looks to be the best rookie QB the Pats have brought in since Brady, I have grave doubts of his ability to be ready to run this offense until AFTER 2016. Coming from Eastern Illinois is a huge step to the NFL, let alone Josh's offense. Regardless of the physical talent, he won't be able to run half of this offense if Brady went down next year. It would be better in year 3, but still not ready. What's JGs contract? 4 years? So team will start contemplating starting him in his 4th year in league...
Interesting, but I also think brady has at least two good years left
- The team has high hopes for Easley, but if they had a do over, would probably take Joel Bitonio (G, Cleveland), who would be perfect for the Pats.
Wow as in that is cool or Wow as in Gug has lost it.Wow.

Wow at the surprising strength of the endorsement.
Guigs must be on it for medicinal purposes.....Wow.
In life there are some battles you fight because it's the right thing to do. There are some you don't for the sake of keeping a happy ship (see marriage). No fine! NFW!!!!
Kraft needs to get his apology
Going nuclear on the league office. Full scale war. Make them a laughingstock.
How in HELL can you fine a team because their footballs obey the laws of physics?
It's beyond irrational.
If they give the NFL a single dollar, that are admitting that Brady, Kraft, and Belichick are all liars and Charles Haley Florio and Gregsom are right. It's as simple as that. There IS no middle ground here. The fate of the integrity of the franchise is what's at stake here....the integrity and legacy of Bob Kraft. In life there are some battles you fight because it's the right thing to do. A small fine would basically tell the world that the NFL Office- this cradle of honesty, transparency, leadership and unwavering, strict commitment to the integrity of the game thinks the Pats are guilty of cheating. F- That.
....You fight this to the bitter end, Bob....TO_THE_END.
Exactly. In the end, Bob made the decision to let Spygate go. He had the opportunity to defend BB but he didn't. Instead he chose to take the fines and move on. For the sake of the season and his standing in the league and w/ Goody he settled the issue....and it bit him in the butt. I don't think Bob fully comprehended how damaging Spygate was (in the media and to the casual fan) and it's the impact on the brand and his family's name. Clearly with DFG, he understands it and i suspect he won't let it slide this time.If they give the NFL a single dollar, that are admitting that Brady, Kraft, and Belichick are all liars and Charles Haley Florio and Gregsom are right. I read where Mazz chose McCourty as one of his "downs" because he was off covering others when the guy who hadn't had a caught a ball all season was racking up over 100 yds. I wonder what Bedard's response was to that.

It's very rational. Goodell's job is a PR job.
The Patriots footballs obeying the laws of physics was a PR disaster.
Someone has to pay.
