It's ironic to have a proven choker endorse food.

Welker was great here, but he blew it twice as far as I am concerned. The drop in the sb and the one in 2012afccg. I hope he feels very envious.

And I hope every one of the seahawks players are bitter to the degree that Warner and Faulk are. Their tears make the win everlasting.

Welker chose to split town for Denver over a few dollars so I have no sympathy for him.

I feel worse for KT, Moss, Waters, Seau, Mankins, and Moore.

On the CSNE postgame, Troy Brown was asked about Edelman's place in the legacy of Troy Brown, Welker, and Edelman, and Brown made a rambling comment that included a reference to Welker as "the other guy" and implied (or maybe said - I had a hard time following him) that he and the Superbowl-winning Edelman were a step above the ball dropper.

If I remember correctly the Pats offered Welker two contracts that were worth more than what he got from Denver..so this is not one of those Pats are cheap crapola threads..

His agent overestimated his value.. and he rejected both Pats offers..

I don't feel bad at all for Welker, he had an offer and took less money to go to Denver. I do feel bad for mankins and I want the pats to give him a ring. There are a few guys on IR that even played less than he did in the preseason. He wore the uniform and should get a ring.

Welker will go down as a bitter-sweet player. I still got his jersey. but it'll stay in my closet.
