I don't accept that the information he got was correct, much less that he communicated it properly.

I think the focus has to shift to the NFL leaks. Why is the NFL leaking this to an Indy reporter. My guess is Brady did a squeeze test and this is all the reffs do as well. Indy complains and reports to NFL and "NFL" leaks this.

Meeting with league officials doesn't happen at his earliest convenience. Coaching may be a 24-7 gig to BB but not the 9-5 NFL employees. They're going to want to talk to him in the morning or afternoon and for a decent amount of time. He most assuredly lost prep time over this.

As more and more comes out, it really feels like Mort got such minimal information, and he may have been filling in the blanks or jumping to conclusions so he could be the one to break this story. I really doubt that all the balls came in at exactly the same weight as he suggested.

it is possible that the information was incorrect......I believe it is quite possible for 11 balls measure very close to the same if they were all treated the same. why would they all be different?



you can set it to let just the right amount of air out........it's that easy

We do not know any of that. However, if your theory is correct and Tom Brady stuck a needle in them, I wold be shocked that he could be so exact in how much air he let out.
Also, the point of my statement was that Mort using one number to describe all 11 balls flies in the face of having real information. If he said 'as much as' or 'an average of' or something along that line, then you could assume he had data. 11 balls 2psi under is a generalization.

Yeah, I guess actions speak louder than words to me. When you cry to mom and dad, and then say it didn't bother you- it bothered you.

I actually played a game of football with friends today. I lost, I was thinking about what it would take for me to seriously say I lost because of ball inflation? I can't imagine someone older than maybe 6 or so trying to use that excuse. It's the most impressive display of petty childishness that I can think of, you really don't even get those excuses at the peewee level.

Maybe everyone should get a trophy, it's not fair the Colts didn't get one, they tried so hard.
