We never really got a ton of information on the actual injury so it may not be a re injury concern now.Bet he will go but won't play, just so he can practice
In theory I agree but I'm not willing to lose our best pass rusher for 1 game. I'd prefer the Patriots took the long road with Jones and ensure he's back fit and firing for the stretch run and January.Best O we'll play all year. We'll need our best D.
And that, children, is what you call "analysis."
If he's ready (and not before) he should play. After all "football players play football"Bet he will go but won't play, just so he can practice
Wouldn't bother me to see that. The defense has done remarkably well without him, no need to rush him back into action. I'd hate to see Chandler suffer a setback.I think they keep him out until Miami
I feel the same way. But I don't think he goes from a ghost, to being ready to play some snaps all in a week. I would much rather him practice at least one more week to get some of the rust off and make sure he can handle it. We can afford for him to take it slowly right nowIf he's ready (and not before) he should play. After all "football players play football"
Yes!! Although it doesnt mean he'll play in the game vs. Green Bay.@MikeReiss: Another sign of progress for DE Chandler Jones (hip injury): He is making trip with the Patriots to Green Bay/San Diego.
On the topic of pass rushers I would love to see them sign Ayers for next season. I think he is a good fit for this team and Belichick is utilizing him the way the Titans should have but failed too.
Jones is awesome, but I have to say the defense has played better without him by being more creative.
So did Jake Bequette. The entire practice squad traveled to GB.@MikeReiss: Another sign of progress for DE Chandler Jones (hip injury): He is making trip with the Patriots to Green Bay/San Diego.
