Those were good, but no...

...it's gotta be Bo. :D

The Bo one was good, but I enjoy the ones where the stories aren't as well known. I know the Bo Jackson story so I really didn't learn anything new. The connection between the drug cartels and the national Columbian soccer team was fascinating. How Mandela used the Springboks to help unite the country through sport and the upset of the All Blacks was pretty inspiring. To believe some guy with no money could purchase an NHL team and keep stringing them along was amazing to see. Fooled the NHL and the banks.

I liked the bad boys one too cause I'm a sicker fr 80s basketball but there's no reason thete shouldn't be a celtic and or laker one.

Think there might of been a Larry and magic one.
There was a Bird/Magic HBO special IIRC...based off of Jackie M's book. Very good IMO.

The Bad Boys one was excellent.

man i am such a moss fan...

One of my favorite athletes of all time. Guy grew up in a bubble. What else was he supposed to know? I'd say he more than made the best of his mental limitations, even though people look at his career like what could have been.

Overall, Rand's career in NE was a glowing success. He put up big numbers and the team won.

He did have some strange moments press conferences, etc...

I wish it didn't end the way it did in 2010 but..oh well.

That's randy though..you just never knew. After that cincy game with that PC..i knew he was gone and i hated it

Had exactly the same sinking feeling watching. Knew then that BB and even Tom would time out on the excessive care and feeding Randy demanded. Greek tragedy.

30 for 30 is awesome, watched "Benji" last week, went to sleep 3am, didn't want to wait for another reprise, the way they reconstruct the facts and stories is really fascinating.

No way we would have lost to the Giants the second time with Moss. That Jets game we were lacking an outside guy too. I hate playing this game but if he took a backseat to the tight ends and realized he was getting older, we would have won more titles.

That was interesting but they skipped his entire nfl career. Disappointing.

On a side note, his friend is still on that Crack. Sad.

WHich one? That's fine...his story was before the NFL and growing up...i knew his NFL career..i wanted to know about him growing up..the town ect and this showed that and it was great

the one who broke down at the end who couldn't handle the simple questions. Perhaps he's just emotional about how his life turned out compared to moss but it seemed to me like he was on something.

Where did it say he was on crack? Or were you just guessing?

Ya, it was just my perception. Given how they said kids in their town lived it isn't far fetched. He seemed lost and in comparison to the other friend who is a high school football coach. Just seems like someone who fell off when randy made it big.

One of my favorite Randy Moss moments. I was at the game. LOL.

07 Rand or '10 Rand?

Not sure Rand would have made a difference in either one. Pats barely had the ball vs NYG and NYJ.

Unless he catches the ball that WW dropped...:(

No question he fell off...but we don't know if he is on crack or not...could be. But not nice to assume things :)
