It was very one-sided, but at least this time the zebra were on our side. There was block-in-the-back on Edleman's return. Also Browner and the other DBs were engaging a lot of contact with the receivers which is fine by me, but they called the same type of contact against the Denver DBs. The Denver fans must be furious as we would be if the tables were turned.

I think that if the game was called straight, both teams would have been evenly matched, and it would have made for a close, exciting game. I will take it, but I do not like the gambling interests controlling the games.

Are you for real?

There wasn't a block in the back, Mike Carey (Mike Carey of all people!) even said it was a good non-call because Wright hit the Denver player in the side. Contact happens every play with receivers & DBs too.

I know your thing is negative threads but seriously?

I thought the game was called pretty darned well, based on today's standards. They pretty much got the obvious stuff on both sides and let the two teams play.

9 penalties for NE, 10 for Denver... yeah, real 'one-sided'. <snort>

Occasionally Felger trolls this forum for amusement. It's actually pretty hilarious. Say what you will about the guy, but he's got a really good sense of humor and knows (really well) how to incite pats fans. Hey Mike!

I guess that since Payton didn't get his mandatory 2 to 3 pass interference calls it was not a well called game

Any slots open for this guy on the practice squad?

So what say you about the browner pi? Fair call right?
