Here's my take on this trade:
1. Assuming all this crap is true about his paint I believe the Jets are going to get the best of Percy Harvin....at least for this season. Harvin HAS to understand that he'll never see that 2nd year of his contract unless he says and does ALL the right things when he gets to the Jets. If he proves a malcontent with them, NO team will every put up big money for him again. Its in his best interest to be the perfect teammate for the Jets.
2. If he's healthy its going to cost the Jets a 2nd because he'll like meet the 2nd round standard.
3. In an ideal world, Harvin will get the Jets to the 6-10/7-9 level, without beating the Pats in December. As much as I dislike the Jets, I would hate for them to be picking in the top 3 of the draft.
4. I have to give the Seahawks some credit. They made a mistake giving Harvin all the money and the Vikings all those picks, but at least they had the balls to admit it, and got what they could back and cut their losses.
5. Once again the old Pioli quote comes to mind. "It's not about accumulating talent, it's about building a TEAM".
