Sunday’s NFL Games (week 4)

jake bequette level? that's harsh. but the inactivity isn't a good sign. anyway, seems like dobson/kt only run quick slants off play action. gotta switch up the play calling

LOL! There is no shame to admit that you are a loser troll. You are in good company of long line of loser trolls who post on Sunday game threads on this board.

No, I am just accepting the facts and not living in some delusional world where the pats can do no wrong and there is nice explanation for everything that is not going right.

I don't hate the Patriots player I'm just not delusional and I am objective. Being inactive 2 of 3 game is the Jake Bequette path whether you like hearing it or not, maybe it will change but so far that is what it has been.

Please do not comment on what is the worst kind of fan because honestly you are one sided and not objective at all which in my opinion is a far worse approach to being a fan, it lacks creditability. I say more positive on this board than I do negative but I talk about the negatives too, and you do not because you want to believe nothing is ever a negative and that is just illogical.

So actually being a fan of the team is worse than hating all the players on the team.

I say negative things all the time on this board. I have criticized the o-line, how they used Chandler Jones, the 3-4 defense in week one, etc. Just off the top of my head.

He has been inactive in two of three games coming off a major injury. That is different than him being healthy being inactive. Five weeks from now if he is inactive, then you have a point. But otherwise, you have to assume he just isn't in game shape.

You been drinking today Rob? Because you are really being a **** and it is totally unnecessary. So there is no confusion I posted Keenan Allen's performance today for the same reason I posted Watt's because it was impressive, not because I was comparing him to Dobson, you concluded that on your own. This is a week 4 games thread not an Aaron Dobson thread. I'm talking about the week 4 player performances.

He was active in week 2 and then inactive in week 3. If he was inactive all 3 games I would buy into what you are suggesting but he played in the preseason final and in week 2 so I think they just preferred Thompkins.

Maybe they tried him in week 2 and he wasn't running well enough. The guy had two screws put into his foot. It wasn't a minor surgery.

I don't hate the players, first I don't hate people I have never met in person. If their play merits criticism I give it just like I give praise if it merits it.

Seem more likely that they just preferred Thompkins. I like Dobson, I think he has a chance to develop into a player like Jeffrey I'm disappointed he is not playing and hope it changes. Right now through 3 games he has been taking a Bequette approach though, that is what it is.

I think Niners will win this. Philly hasn't really done that much offensively. Kinda feels like Broncos-Pats from last year where a couple of dumb mistakes got them behind.

Niners aren't doing much either.

I am tired of all the *****ing on this board and going overboard about players. All day it has been "The Pats should have signed Steven Smith" "The Pats should have signed Mike Wallace". etc. I am sorry if I am unloading on you, but it is just tiring in general. I will stop attacking you. I am sorry again.

Keenan Allen looks every bit a current and future beast. :(

Thompkins was inactive and Dobson was active week two.

Again, the Bequette stuff makes you look unobjective. Bequette was never active because he just sucked and could not make any contribution in any way. Dobson had the best season for any rookie WR in the Brady era. And if he isn't playing, it has to be due to his injury because he hasn't even had a chance to fail to be benched because of performance.

Seriously, the guy needs to get reps with Brady to even show if he isn't going to be a bust. He missed the entire preseason, so if he isn't doing well they need to give him an opportunity to get reps with Brady to see what he is.

Dobson has been a healthy scratch 2 of 3 games this season. That is why people are not giving a lot leeway, he is taking the Jake Bequette path suddenly.

Dislike

Keenan Allen looking like a young Marvin Harrison. Gits.

10th catch of the day for Allen. Incredible young player.

Devin Hester with a quite frankly ridiculous TD.

Being a sports Fan, is not an exercise in objectivity, unless your playing Fantasy football. I'm a homer and glory in rooting for "my" team.

Johnny Most was my favorite sports announcer. He probably contributed to at least a couple of Celtics championships, by never tearing a locker room apart, by being "objectively" divisive.

There are other areas of life that demand objectivity; but being a "FAN-atic" is NOT one of them.

Maybe he'll actually do something in the playoffs. Marvin was friggin amazing but he shriveled up in the playoffs just like his QB every time. I wonder if he'll make it into the Hall of Fame. He certainly has the numbers.

No problem, I like you Rob and I think you are an excellent poster. Sometimes you do makes some excuses, which is fine; it just will lead to a little friction from time to time.

My concern is with the way we develop the WRs not with the actual players. Keenan Allen is good because the Chargers ride or die with him, we should be doing the same with Dobson in my opinion. I for one was actually very happy with what Tavon Wilson did as a rookie and then last season they did not even give him a chance, now this season I am seeing the same thing with Dobson and Harmon and it just annoys me, because I like young players. I am OK with them making mistakes I just like to see them get a shot.

I would not have signed Mike Wallace for what he cost, I think he is a fine WR who could add something to the team but the Dolphins overpaid so they can have him. Emmanuel Sanders would have been a nice signing but he is not Calvin Johnson so his not being signed is not that big of a deal. Posters are just enamored with him because he has had a couple good games because he is new to the Broncos offense so teams are not game planning him like they do the other WRs.
