QB: B
WR/TE: C
RB: C-
OL: F. Might be a harsh grade but when you can't protect the QB and especially can't run on a team like the Raiders there is only one place to point fingers. That was terrible.

DL: C
LB: B-
DB: C-

Special Teams: B+

I think you are being too kindly on the Offense. Brady did not play well enough to get a B, even while i agree that much of his troubles are due to bad OLine play.
Coaching, RBs deserve a lower score too IMO.
I'd bump the DL, but only slightly

don't know how you can grade the defense so low wwhen they only allowed 9 pts. but i agree on the o-line F--

I have said this to people i have watched the game with and a lot of them disagree.

However i think this is the best our O has looked all year. 16 points obviously is not good but for the first time all year they earned all 16 without any help. They had a lot of decent drives that stalled for various reasons.

The passing offense looked good for a few drives which is better than the 1 or 2 they have looked good in other games combined.

The OL looked better in the 4th. I think Stork as C and Connolly as G is clearly the best option right now.

I mean look at it this way. A bad snap, a dropped TD by Gronk and a horrible penalty inside the 10. Those things don't happen and maybe it is 24-27 points instead of 16. Certainly more than 16 regardless.

Brady was really good in this game and I thought he had his best game of the season. Edelman looked great, Vereen looked good, KT looked good (yes it shows when he is in the game, b/c he actually gets open and he has a suddeness to his movements that really creates seperation).

Gronkowski still doesn't look good, Lafell was meh and Amendola was absent as per usual.

Ridley was fine but then he couldn't do anything b/c our line is so bad.

Everything would open up for this team if our Oline played up to its talent level. Until that happens though, we'll keep stalling.

It was definitely a good move to trade Logan Mankins. O-Line: A++. They looked like world beaters out there. Marcus Cannon is a bona-fide starter in this league.

Also grades

QB - B (not a B for Brady but B+ overall... Was a C+ for Brady)
RB - B-
TE - B
WR - B-
OL - D- (a few big blocks in the 4th but besides that bad bad bad)

DL - B+ (Some pressure but not enough)
LB - A (Hightower looking like a pro-bowler and Mayo is Mayo)
DBs A- (Good day. Could have been better)

I think my grades go to show how when one part of your team preforms badly how much it can bring down the rest.

Not trying to look like a homer here but Mankins has not looked good this year. I think Connolly there is not much of a downgrade overall at this point.

Defense played well considering how often they were on the field in the first half. DL could have gotten more pressure. I don't think our defense adapted quickly enough to Oakland's quick passing game enough, that's on Patricia in my opinion.

Nate Solder is really disappointing so far this year. I wonder what's going on with him. Certainly not making his case for an extension this year.

The Defense....9 points playing a very conservative "let the newbie QB make mistakes" style of D. Hats off to Carr for 59 minutes of solid play. Hats off to the NE ...for only giving up NINE POINTS. Only 2 teams gave up fewer points this week. Think their fans are pissed with their D too???????????

I am sorry, but I don't think Mankins is the answer to what is wrong with the o-line.

Did you watch Marcus Cannon get forcefully raped today? Our quarterback is 37 years old. He cannot. .. CANNOT continue to absorb those kinds of hits.

None of the Bucs have looked good this year. But Cannon has looked like dog **** allowed to dry in the sun.

I'm sorry, but he might help but it isn't just Cannon that has had problems on the o-line and Mankins wasn't a great pass blocker last year himself. If Cannon was the only problem, then you would have a point.

Offense- C-

Most of this grade is brought down by the appalling play of the Offensive line but brought up by the rest of the offense. The botched Snap was atrocious and Brady is still getting killed. We were able to see a little bit of what they are capable of when Brady has more than 2 seconds to throw the ball. That nice drive in the 4th is what we should be seeing on every drive. Unfortunately it was short lived and they went right back to playing horribly. The entire offense also needs to become more disciplined, too many offensive penalties. Edelman was an MVP as is becoming common place in every game this season. Ridley ran well when he was able to get some space and the OLine didnt fold. Gronk had some nice catches and TD minus the bad drop that should have been a TD. The other receivers leave much to be desired and frankly they are stressful. Brady played well with what he was given but every game I fear for him and those hits he takes.

Defense- B

The defense played extremely well. They had a lot of major stops and I just Love that Wilfork sealed the win with his interception. They were able to pressure Carr a bit, would have liked some sacks but hes very mobile. Even though it was the Raiders, holding them to only 9 points was tremendous.

Special Teams - A-

Special Teams played well. All Field Goals Made, good field position on returns for the most part. Punts and Kickoffs were Good.

The Offense at this point is the biggest struggle and still needs a lot of work. They seem so out of sync and most of it comes from the O line.

Offensive line: F- + detention.
Everyone else: B
