We should plan which posters is going to open the “We should have kept Cassell instead of Brady” thread this week just in case we lose.. .:D

If we lose i won't be on here. So many idiots. They go 0-2 and i will take a week break from the forum 100% due to BS threads like. "Revis is done" "Brady doesn't like BB anymore"

I did bet the house on the pats this week though. A week after a tough loss? They always come out on fire and on a mission after a piss poor game.....just look at their record after a loss with BB and Brady. I have a better chance at hitting the lotto i think then 2 Ls in a row...i think ;)

Nobody is going to say that. However, it is 100% legitimate to question the abilities of 2014 Tom Brady.

Oh, I am already trading Revis, Gronkowski, McCourty, Solder, and Jones to Detroit for Calvin Johnson. We need a playmaker.

Of all things that concern me Brady is dead last.

The significance of them going 0-2 will be that it happened against two bad football teams.

Those probably would be started about Brady, agreed. But the Revis concerns are valid. Behind the o line, Revis is one of my biggest concerns. I thought that if all else fails on d, we would at least be able to count on the fact that half of the field would be taken away. To find out that Revis is not near the same player post injury and that Belichick didn't do his due diligence to find that out, are extremely problematic.

And that is dead last on my list of issues. Nowhere close to anything major whatsoever with our problems.

This is what i am talking about...hysterical.

Lets keep this BS out of this thread. Revis isn't an issue and neither is Brady. it's 1 game. Vikings talk please

Is anyone going to the game?? This will be my first meaningful Pats game (saw them in preseason like 10 years ago). I'm pretty pumped. I had tickets to the AFCCG in Foxborough back in 2011 but we decided to lose to the goddamned Jets

Would be cool to meet up with fellow Patsfans members before the game!

I'll be at my first Pats game since the Steelers in '07 (the game where Anthony Smith guaranteed victory for Pittsburgh). The last time the Pats came to Minneapolis (where I live) was 06, and I was at the game as they beat the Vikings like a drum on Monday Night Football with everyone in the crowd dressed up for Halloween. It was a lot of fun. Hoping we get a repeat performance, Brady was razor sharp that night.

I remember watching that game actually..they killed them IIRC

This kid could pull off a Josh Gordon type game against the Pats

They are completely different players. Patterson is not a good route runner, and does not have tremendous hands. What he is, however, is one of the most elecrifying runners with the ball in his hands in the NFL. They don't need Revis shadowing him all game; what they do need is to make sure they are sure tacklers. Both Peterson and Patterson will break tackles all day if the Pats are not sound in their fundamentals.

Sure tackling...no problem. They only made Moreno look like Jim Brown.

One thing i expect is their tackling to be MUCH better

They slaughtered them, 31-7 and it wasn't that close. It was really sort of the launching point for the Patriots spread offense---they came out shotgun 5 wide on the first play and stayed that way for most of the first quarter, as the Vikings had the "Williams Wall" of Pat and Kevin and were 1st in the NFL in run defense. The Vikings were 4-2 at the time, the 5-1 Patriots drilled them and gave every other team in the league the blueprint to beat them---don't even bother running it, just throw. The Vikings finished with just 6 wins.

Also, this game featured a Chad Jackson receiving touchdown and a Laurence Maroney kick return touchdown. One of 3 career TDs for Mr. Jackson

I know everyone is focusing on the Pats passing game and defending AP, but I am looking forward to us running the ball on them.

If we can get our lineman settled down and getting into rhythm they will gain some confidence and respect from the Vikings D-line, making pass protection a little easier.

We are gonna trash the Vikings no questions asked we are a super bowl team their not, their like a low level team compared to us.
People expected the same vs miami. Every game is tough in the nfl .Back to back road games, their home opener all are factors. Expect the pats to play a lot better but no results are guranteed.

MIA plays the pats tough in MIA...always.

I predict a win.

Man I am ready for this game already. Pats have gotten an @$$ ripping all week and are not gonna want to play like last week and won't.
