It's easy, and only takes a few moments. One name to watch: Washington cut RB Lache Seastrunk, their 6th round pick from Baylor. He's got good hands and speed to burn out of the backfield. Most importantly, he gashed the hell out of the Patriots in the first preseason game.
...In any case, I'm sure TFB would have been thrilled with having to take timeouts because Bryant didn't know where to line up.
No question, WR has been their worst drafting position -- but that's true leaguewide. WR is the single most unpredictable position to draft. That's presumably why the Pats never choose WRs in round one, and sign a lot of FAs to decent contracts at the position.
Three UDFA rookies remain so far: James Morris, Malcolm Butler, Eathyn Manumaleuna.
If Morris is healthy it looks like we have two internship winners this year.
Jets cut Stephen Hill,
should we see if we can teach him to catch a ball?
Maybe he just needs a shower to get that New Jersey sewer smell off of him.
Somebody here is gonna have a meltdown. In the game 2 or 3? thread I stated a couple times that Finch was PS material not 53. Got a blizzard of a half dozen Dislikes or Disagrees or whatever.
Morris released. 59.
Although it should be mentioned that nothing is really official until the papers are turned in at 4pm.
Two left. Morris released.
I thought Finch would make it as a KR.
Say what you want about Dez Bryant, but don't you think it's a little foolish when certain patriots fans say they would rather have Brady throwing the ball to Tiquan Underwood, Chad Jackson, Josh Boyce than Dez Bryant? That's ridiculous.
Anyways, I have a lot of hope for this season. I think we can get over that AFC championship game hump, and get back to the superbowl this year.
