It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I hope he thoroughly enjoys his first year with a stable organization and hope he contributes to a Super Bowl winning squad so he can maybe give the team a bit of a break when it comes time to pony up the cash for a long term deal. He met the team halfway and the team met him halfway this offseason. I honestly hope that happens next year.
I especially loved the comments about how he asks veterans for opinions and talks to everyone to help figure things out, because it flies in the face of the Felger-ites who say he's grown so arrogant that he's basically a dictator on the field.
My guess is if he has a Revis like season, he will want more than 12m next year; and my guess is the Pats will be willing to give him atleast 12m (since they were willing to give it this year). But maybe the Pats won't go above 14 or so.
If we win the SB, maybe Revis goes to the highest bidder, and that's fine because we'll have won the SB and I'll be happy.
If we come close but don't win, maybe Revis stays with the Pats at a slight discount, and I'll be sad we didn't win but happy to have him back.
Enjoy it while you can, as I will. I'm glad he's here and I think he's a great player who could help us win a SB this year. I also think he's an a-hole.I still can't believe he's a Patriot.
Agree with everything you wrote about him as a player. But, he can be all of those things and still be an a-hole. Of.course, I don't know him so I could be wrong - but I doubt it. Delighted he's on our team. After reading the book about a Jets season, which heavily featured Revis, I would say he is not an a--hole. He is everything Bill Belichick loves in a football player. Monster in the film room. Monster on the practice field, where he takes pride in not allowing a catch, no matter what.

"Everybody here has accepted me... as much as they can..to make me feel like at home"
THAT is the FULL quote. I do not get the impression you get. I watched that whole clip before and just watched it again. There are dozens of replies anybody can take out of context and spin into negatives.
I refuse to play into these type of veiled hatred responses. Seems as though that's all it is about around here the last six months.
