Solder has officially been ruled out for tomorrow so who will be the LT tomorrow? If Svitek can is able to go I think the best lineup would be Cannon at LT and Svitek at RT. If Svitek is unable to go that complicates things even more and we may have to use Mankins at LT, Connolly at LG and Kline at RG.

Personally I think they should consider adding RJ Dill or Jordan Devey from the practice squad to the 53 man roster. Either way I don’t like the idea of facing off against Suggs and Dumervil without Solder or Vollmer.

I will. Sure, I'm not 200 or more pounds, and I'm not 6 feet tall, but I'm scrappy and I'll keep back Suggs and Dumervil.

Mankins, Svitek or Kline, Wendell, Connolly, and Cannon

As Reiss indicated, Svitek didn't practice at LG before the last game; perhaps he did before this one.

We have lots of issues. The above line would have 4 or 5 at the same positions as last week.

I'm all for limiting the amount of change to our OL. I'm really not a fan of starting an UDFA at guard and moving a guard to LT.

We know that Cannon is a good RT. We don't know if he's a good LT.

Svitek (with help all game!)-Mankins-Wendell-Connolly-Cannon, is the OL I'd start.

I feel that Mankins-Kline-Wendell-Connolly-Cannon would be a disaster, but in BB we trust.

I expect Solder to be out next week a la Welker.

Put Cannon at LT if Svitek is ready to go. Otherwise all eyes will be on Josh Kline, who looked practice squad only ready last week.

Svitek has started a fair bit at LT for Atlanta. Why switch Cannon?

I don't understand at all the idea of putting Mankins at LT and Svitek at LG, as opposed to the other way around.

Beyond that, I was surprised at how ringing BB's endorsement was of Mankins' abilities at LT, but I believe him. I still think that if Svitek is sufficiently healthy you just go with Svitek and Cannon at the tackles, and let the remaining starters play their usual positions.

I expect Svitek at LT

The way the Ravens' defense has been playing recently, I think it is more important to have your best players inside and not outside. Suggs has been invisible in recent weeks. Dumervil has had his moments, but also not getting to the QB like he had earlier in the year. I am more concerned about the inside pass rush.

That means keep Mankins inside and move Svitek to LT.

I wouldn't bet on that. Welker hasn't been cleared to practice yet. He has only been cleared to do light workouts. He is in much worse shape than Solder who practiced all week.

Belichick chose Logan Mankins last week, after reportedly trying different options in practice all week since Solder was coming off of concussion #1 in preparation for the Dolphins. I see no reason to believe why Mankins wouldn't be out there again tomorrow.

Actually, the only tape that Patriots had on Mankins before drafting him was his play at LT with Fresno State, but we already had Matt Light there at the time, so they moved Mankins inside to guard.

Belichick and Mankins pretty much both talked about his ability to play LT this week, so unless it's just a smokescreen I am guessing we'll see him there tomorrow.

And Thompkins didn't travel to Balt either, ruled out.

This offense is so depleted in key areas... not one receiver, but at least two and a premier tight end. Both starting tackles... I believe in the BB mantra of doing your job, but this is getting a tad ridiculous...

So what will the game plan be with a patchwork line and depleted receiving corps??... time for some #12 magic.

Reiss seems to think it's Mankins at LT, because of Svitek's ankle.

-Expect Baltimore to be pressing the LOS with 9-10 players
-Brady should set up in shot gun behind RT...10 yds deep
-Over/under on # of WR screeens .....5
-Over/under on # of direct snaps ....3
-Mallet sighting today?
-punt on 3rd down?
-RB pass?

Please Lord.....let Brady survive this day......Amen

Let's just hope Brady survives the day. I expect they will run the ball and dump off to SV quite a bit.

Strangely the betting line moved down not up this week. I guess the betting public have not bought into the Ravens as much as the media has.

Go Pats!

Yup. The fact of the matter with this Baltimore pass rush is that even though Suggs and Dumervil haven't been getting the stat sheet sacks, the Ravens 3-4 DEs, NTs and ILBs have been. There's some impressive play by Arthur Jones and Pernell McPhee. Not to mention Daryl Smith playing like he found the fountain of youth in Baltimore.
