mallett is a one trick pony - throw it as hard as he can, no accuracy, no touch.

Ryan Mallett tonight thus far – 10/14 = 71.4% completions, 117 passing yards, 1 touchdown, for a 120.2 rating. Impressive game for the youngster, he may net us a draft pick yet..

Neither was playing with the first offense in the preseason. It's not a point in either's favor, it's just saying that Mallett in 2013 wouldn't have the support (nor the easy schedule) that Cassel did in 2008. It's a different context for an unproven backup QB, basically. That's nothing Mallett can help, certainly, but it's worth thinking about in terms of personnel decisions and it sort of invalidates the Cassel comparison.

Look at that. Marquise Cole again with a good play. This is why I can't make up my mind about this kid. :bricks:

He should've had an INT too - was lucky that Amukamura came down with a hand out of bounds. It was a terrible throw regardless of the results, which tempers my enthusiasm for tonight quite a bit, but it's still a pretty decent performance so far.

Let the BUF fans laugh. It's really all they have to look forward to in terms of football---the "demise" of the hated Pats. I almost feel sorry for them.
