It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Here's a big difference: Cassel was playing with an offense that was virtually unchanged from the previous year's which had been the greatest offense of all-time. Mallett would be playing with an offense with a ton of turnover where most of the receiving targets are rookies.
Absolutely no point in keeping Bequette over Buchanan.
Great plays by Buchanan, Washington, Mallet, and Boyce.
Mallett....now see that?... a few series in...and he's locked
Bequette and Buchanan are both playing great. I'd be willing to bet that they've played Cunningham off the roster tonight. I hated the Bequette pick more than anyone, probably, but he's really showing something tonight.

Solution: Keep both.
Great pass. For all the crap I'm giving Mallett, that's what I've been expecting since he was drafted. That ball comes out like it was shot from a howitzer, there's only a couple other guys in the NFL with an arm like that.
Also, I think Boyce is more ready than Dobson and wouldn't be surprised if he gets more playing time, at least early in the year.
With Beq on practice squad?
Where's all the Mallett bashers now? Kid can play, and he is the future.
