Brady injured knee

Willie Mac and Sean O hara make a good point on NFLN - why on earth would belichick have a 2nd joint practice session? they had one last week, why have a second one? if you practice against another team, the other team is going to play passionately. if you practice against your own team then you can control this kind of stuff to a greater extent.

you answered your own question.

Patriots will re-examine Tom Brady in the morning, but one source said the quarterback is likely to practice Thursday.

:D
And he was suppose to be done for the year a couple hours ago.

i don't buy adrian clayborn's "i was just letting my instincts take over." in the video brady cleary threw the ball and THEN clayborn KEPT BULLRUSHING solder.

i can't believe that there 122 brain dead people who "liked" this thread.

That isn't from people who liked the thread, it's total likes of posts in the thread

The inclination is always there to look for someone to blame but think about how hard it is for these guys especially at that position to just switch it off like that. I don't think that there's a 75% gear when you get two huge guys competing like that who have been successful precisely because of their motors.

No one "liked" the thread itself. They liked specific comments made by posters on an individual level.

EDIT: Just saw JMC00's explanation stating the same.

ah, got it. nevermind. you people aren't brain dead after all. ;)

I don't remember seeing one single post that claimed he was done for the year, only natural concern from posters for the obvious reasons.

Would you actually expect anything other than serious concern for the ONE player who we cannot afford to lose, especially when it's the exact same knee that had been repaired via surgery?

Yeah, many of the "likes" were regarding the tweets that were copied that spoke of positive news. The others were for issues such as hoping Brady goes back to wearing the knee brace all the time, etc.

Thank you, Abraham Zapruder.

was going to say the same thing but you beat me too it . . .

love your avatar btw . . . one of my favorite movies . . .

". . . he will see the big board . . . "

"'God willing, we will prevail, in peace and freedom from fear, and in true health, through the purity and essence of our natural... fluids. God bless you all' and he hung up."

Really makes you appreciate how lucky we are as Pats fans to have a once-in-a-lifetime player like Brady, when Vegas shuts down because he tweaks a knee.

Nate Solder: "I'll have to see what happened on film".

Looked to me like you went incredibly soft on that play.

We can all agree that Nate Solder is a pretty good left tackle, right? That he did an excellent job defending Brady's blind side all last year, right? Good.

So let me ask you, which is more likely:

1) Solder suddenly forgot how to deal with a bull rush and got pushed back like a 170 pound wimp trying to block a 300 pound NFL defensive lineman;

or

2) Solder was not expecting a full-on bull rush because everyone had agree that they would not be trying to get after the opposing quarterback?

I think the answer is pretty darn obvious.

Maybe someone on the Pats' D will get a good shot at Freeman tomorrow and put him to sleep. Just saying, anything could happen.

add to that:

3) clayborn is a scrub with 2 tackles all of last year and is trying to impress his coaches.

The funny thing is four hours ago my season expectations suddenly lowered tenfold.

Actually, as an opposing coach, I would be executing a discreet chop block down the line on Bowers Friday night though.
