I remember when DeOssie was on WEEI two weeks ago defending his outrageous disparagement of Patriots fans. At the end of the segment Ordway asked him if he was worried about the fallout hurting his steakhouse business. DeOssie said he didn't think so because it's a "high-end" restaurant. In other words, we lowly fans can't afford it anyway. He closed the conversation by apologizing for his voice because he got hoarse yelling for the Giants the day before. What a ****.

Honestly, I haven't gotten over it yet. When it happened, I felt I would never get over it or let it go. I do forget about it for short periods of time, but I always come back to it. In my opinion, you had to see and hear the video to fully comprehend how disparaging he was of the Pats and, in particular, their fans. Having someone re-tell it or reading a transcript of it doesn't come close to describing it. As an aside, try the smothered sirloin tips at the 99. Fraud and Sleeze's isn't coming close to those babies...

lol i thought i was the only one..... I almost wanna call up and ask how much they pay for that ad to get on and offer to double it for them to have dead air instead

i always thought it was the most bazaare concept for a charity too, scam maybe??

he said something like ppl dont come because of the patriots or the giants they come for the quality HAHA

Not a scam. There are many charities that will take cars as donations. I used to work for a dealer that had it's own auto auction, and we would regularly get cars donated. They weren't much, but $300-$500 here and there adds up quick.

Doesn't change the fact that the jingle makes me want to eat a bullet.

I don't know if its eei of sports hub but the commercial about car accident where the people are calling each other. Kind of goes like this:

Women: Hello, I got side swiped. I'm ok but I can't take you to your job interview

Man: hey brother, my wife got in accident and I have a jon interview that I can't miss so I need to borrow your car

Brother: hey cousin, my borther has to use my car so I have to take the bus and be late for the game

Cousin: My cousin is going to be late so we will just have to wait

I really wish they would not play that anymore. So ******* annoying. And how good could it be since I don't know what the commercial is for.

Isn't that the case with, like, 95% of the commercials we see and hear? I mean, I seem to remember there was one commercial recently where they kept showing women's butts and the ad turned out to be for shoes.

Yes, all of those High Rollers from NY drive up to RI to get a steak. I guess there are no Steak places in NY.

The saving grace right now is that DeOssie is not on the air due to football being over.

I hope that EEI does not bring him back.

I won't forget it either, not ever. But I'm afraid it'll all be forgotten, if not forgiven, by August. I just hope that half of the people who were outraged when this dipsh!t dissed every one of us remember, as well.
