Moss looks to be at his New England crossroads | ProFootballTalk.com

iam sure this is going to get the TO kinda coverage from here on out...not too thrilled about it.

The media's been hoping for this since the deal went down; we've been hearing about Moss "dogging it" pretty much since day one.

All in all, though, Moss has to decide what he wants to do. Granted, Moss has been injured (remember, there were reports that earlier this season his back hurt so much they weren't sure he'd be able to play), but it's up to him.

If Moss wants to play for another team after the season, BB should ship him back to that stinkhole they call Oakland, or maybe Moss would be happier in St.Louis.

Surprised it took Perez Florio this long to get on the train. Surprised he's not trying to spin it as Moss trying to get released so he can play with Favre in Minnesota.

All will be back and practice tomorrow and avail for game, but today will have plenty of speculation and add fuel to an already smoldering fire.

Maybe in the offseason, we can trade Moss for OchoCinco. Because if we lose Moss, we are going to need a No. 1.

I'm so tired of Burgess and his attitude. Guy can't play and doesn't care. Why is he still here? To save face for a bad trade?

PFT et al probably wrote this article back in 2007 and have been waiting for a chance to submit it ever since. Seriously, guys, the fact that a lot of you are lapping this crap up is pretty sad.

Whom would the Patriots start in lieu of Burgess?

Well, he was willing to cut Gabriel and put Starks on IR, so I'm presuming that he feels Burgess is the best he can get at this point.

Or they may not play at all. The general rule is you screw up and miss a day of practice, you don't play.

If we thought the turnover of the roster was big last season, I have a feeling we havent seen anything yet; this upcoming off season is going to be reconstructive surgery on the pats roster. No way AD, and Burgess are back to start things off.

Burgess didnt start on Sunday. Thomas did.

If they both are benched then Nicovich would probably be in line to start

Lapping it up?

Florio is saying a lot of the same stuff people here were saying about Moss, Burgess and Thomas.

Curran also points out that the other two veterans who were late on Wednesday -- linebacker Adalius Thomas and linebacker Derrick Burgess -- are showing strong signs of not caring. As to Thomas, Curran explains that Thomas has "taken a certain satisfaction in seeing coach Bill Belichick's genius questioned this season." Burgess, per Curran, simply doesn't seem to care if the team wins or loses.
Reminds me of a quote that ray lewis said about AD. "The NE Patriots won 3 SB without you.We won 1 SB without you.You got what you wanted so shut up" or something to that effect.

Bad thing is that we are going to have to bite the bullet with those two. No one is going to make a trade for them seeing as how they ended their stay with in New England.

Im disappointed in AD, no way he or Burgess are back next season. Might as well rename Burgess Buger from revenge of the nerds, they would probably have the same amount of production as each other.

Oh well, get rid of people who dont care and have bad attitudes at any cost.

Ha... if anything bringing attention to it is going to make Moss a stronger Patriot. I have full faith in Moss and not worried about him in the least. AD is a different story, what a waste of $$.

I'm curious, though. Who was it that brought in Thomas and Burgess in the first place?
