Agreed... how is "not doing the banner thing" being more humble anyway? Hey, I remember as a young kid going to the old "Ga-din" & looking up at all the championship banners from the 60's being in total awe. The fact I was around for these banners & saw them "raised" is special to me...

The "banner thing" is the only good part about that whole NFL production with the concert & such. The way that reads is the Pats put on that "show" themselves, when from what I understand, thats the NFL's thing. So Steelers are gonna have the lame concert minus the best part? Good for...

Honestly even if the Pats had a top D all season, I always felt Mangini was way too inexperienced for a HC job. Jets better be prepared to give him 3 full seasons, plus that 4th season to prove himself. Otherwise what was the point to adding such a young inexperienced HC? No way is he ready...
