    Hobbs Kickoff return- be honest

My (almost) exact words were... "Look at this little BSer"(using the full word). No doubt wrong decision and yet one of the all-time great individual plays in Pats history.

OT: Sad: Alan Greenburg died of a heart attack

Re: OT- Sad off topic Alan Greenburg Died of a heart attack Real sad to see that, especially since he has young kids. Plenty of times I've disagreed with his opinion, but always someone I respected.... unlike certain other writers down there.

    Official: Graham to Denver

If a certain someone we both know only bet me... I had said 5 years 25 mil and he thought it was WAY more than he'd get. When I saw the number I could only laugh... and I say that as one of Graham's biggest supporters. Because he's such a great blocker, he is much better than his stats...

    Hello Everyone

Question? has it been down the entire night? Last time I checked was about 5pm and they still have the "update" sign up this morning. Well Cheers is closed down, I guess we got to stagger down to Gary's Ol' time tavern and mess with Gary and his boys a while. :p

OT(kind of) Help with a link

On another board someone asked for a link or reference to the fact in 2005, Polian complained to the league about a potential Colts at Pats home opener for a 2nd straight year. 1st off, this did happen right? Want to make sure I didn't cook this up in my warped head. More important...

    KFFL on the Pats....

Nice broad brush your painting us with though. Funny thing is I'v had a ton of run-ins with "football" over there. Big one was last offseason where he insisted Vrabel can't play ILB skillset wise & BB would never put him there. I called him out on his lack of knowledge despite pretending to have...

    KFFL on the Pats....

Starring in "The Grudge 2"... BBfan. ;) I'm glad you don't hold it against your former "buddies" over there though. Not sure what Mr. Turd is carrying on about though... not that I really care.

Steelers fans bash Patriots SB celebrations

Bingo... that's why any spin by Steelers fans based on the concert stuff is offbase & well... kind of lame.

OT: Steelers "We don't do the banner thing"

Agreed... how is "not doing the banner thing" being more humble anyway? Hey, I remember as a young kid going to the old "Ga-din" & looking up at all the championship banners from the 60's being in total awe. The fact I was around for these banners & saw them "raised" is special to me...

OT: Steelers "We don't do the banner thing"

The "banner thing" is the only good part about that whole NFL production with the concert & such. The way that reads is the Pats put on that "show" themselves, when from what I understand, thats the NFL's thing. So Steelers are gonna have the lame concert minus the best part? Good for...

We will have a "complete team" before the draft

I'm WAY late to this party, but have had similar conversations on another board. My post isn't directed at Steve or anyone specific, just a general observation. I understand people questioning what the Pats have done to this point in FA. What I don't get is when people make assumptions...

    Lavar Arrington?

Hmmm, Carl Poston is that you? ;) edit- opps didn't he fire him? never mind.
  13. B

    Lavar Arrington?

Money demands + what he adds on the field = Not gonna happen here. Before Peterson got the contract he did, Pats "maybe" had interest. Now Arrington is looking at that deal & wants more. No thanks.

    Our '05 Defense Was GOOD!

Honestly even if the Pats had a top D all season, I always felt Mangini was way too inexperienced for a HC job. Jets better be prepared to give him 3 full seasons, plus that 4th season to prove himself. Otherwise what was the point to adding such a young inexperienced HC? No way is he ready...

    Our '05 Defense Was GOOD!

Oh agreed... The Pats D did EVERYTHING they needed to vs the Broncos that they didn't during the regular season. A game like that was proof of how far the Pats D had come since mid-season. I also agree with JJ's point that, despite how bad the offenses were, Pats D didn't just slow them...

    Our '05 Defense Was GOOD!

The majority of that is fair... I think some look at last season & feel the Pats have far more holes than they do in reality. Once we got the best 3rd down CB...for offenses... off the field(Starks), we saw a pretty big jump in defensive play. Once Hawkins got plugged in at S & the front 7...

Your opinion of the NE media covering the Patriots

Not good for much anymore... Can always visit this site or one of the "other" ones for factual info like signings. As far as opinions go? most don't have any better opinions than the fans that visit these sites, but have the guise of validity because of their job title. For every Mike...
