John Chandler on NESN's Sports Desk (or whatever it's called) said this morning, with a tiny bit of hyperbole, that BB got more standing ovations than the Celtics.

It was mentioned in the Globe today that when BB's mug was put up on the jumbo tron in the 3rd that the place erupted with cheers!!!!! I love our smart, savvy NE sports fans!!!!

Apparently he's been going to his son's lacrosse games at Rutgers a lot too. That's pretty ballsy considered that sewer of a state is infested with Rats and Giants fans. Gotta love the contempt he has for stupid people.

You'd be suprised how many people in that state would want to come up and shake his hand and tell him he's a good coach. Sure, he would probably get heckled a lot because there are morons everywhere, but you would definitely be suprised. He was even hounded down here in FLA for autographs and photo sessions. People who know football respect him because he is truly a student of the game. Unfortunately, there are not many Jet fans that know too much about football. They're concentration is mostly on that sinking ship of a baseball team.

Btw it's an added bonus that ESPN covered last nights game. For all fans going to the Celtic playoff games next time ESPN has the game be sure to walk by their booth (especially at halftime when they're on the air) and tell them just how much we love their "work" at the Connecticut tabloid.
