Do you think the Giants are a bad team?
no, not bad...but certainly being overrated by the media..especially NY media. They aren't going to know what hit them Sunday.

Isn't that mostly because another NFL team plays there?
I think your sig is fine (if a bit garish). I've seen worse from trolls. What I found funny is the "playoff appearances" category at the bottom.
No it is not. The Jets hang their stuff up on the plastic wall covering thing. The Giants played at GIANTS Stadium since 1976... The Jets moved in in 1984.

Pretty accurate assessment. Both sentences.Earlier in this thread someone stated the Giants would likely not have beaten the Jaguars or Chargers.
Translation: They do not believe the Giants have a chance in hell against the Patriots.
You hope, because you know for sure. It is in the future... I can't predict. But since you can what is tonights lottery number?
Alright, fair enough. I wasn't aware of that (I've never been there) so thanks for the correction.

Giants are lucky to be here. Amazing that they are, and kudos to them for getting here, and to Coughlin for playing hard week 17 (man, was I ever wrong about that!), but they are still squeaked out wins the last two weeks and are lucky to be here.
If the Giants win this year... it will be on the season tickets. It will be mentioned at the first home game and no banner will be hung. It will be all about next year.
also...
No rally's are given before they leave to the Super Bowl where a QB predicts he will bring home the trophy (Oh wait that was the Patriots/Who would believe that could happen... they said they'll win... imagine a pro team thinks they can beat an opponent). I have nothing against predictions. A parade would happen, but NY would never allow the plans to get out like Boston.
Then the Einstein of a Mayor comes along and upsets everything with his announcement that the Boston Victory Parade is all set.

Could you predict who would win in the Giants played a third grade girls team? See, you can predict. The Giants would win every game if they played a thousand times. It isn't like the lottery. You hope, because you know for sure. It is in the future... I can't predict. But since you can what is tonights lottery number?
But it isn't like the lottery, and the Giants have about as much chance against the Pats as you little girls did against the Giants. This game, alas, you are the little girls. Except that little girls are so stupid as to think they could win 23-17.
You need to hope for lucky breaks and funny bouncecs of the ball, because if each team plays to its ability, the Giants will lose. Because they simply are not as good as the Patriots.
Spoken like a guy who didn't watch the last game the Giants played. Preparation, hard work and talent had nothing to do with Lord Favre hand the game over in OT with a pass even you and I would know better than to throw.Spoken like someone who doesn't realize the effort it takes to win a NFL game. This is not Pop Warned. They are not lucky... Preperation, hard work, and talent is the readon they're in Super Bowl 42.
The NFL Champions Giants played college teams then and defeated them look it up. My signature is one of pride for all the great Giants teams. No one is hanging on to the past. The Giants don't even have one banner or retired number displayed in the stadium. I have it in my signature because I enjoy all aspects of the Giants past and present. If it makes you feel better to be rude... enjoy it. I was trying to be pleasant and have a discussion.
Wow. You don't have Watson's IQ. Your IQ is Watson's Wonderlic score. That's just idiotic. If you really think that, I feel bad for you.
Hooray for the Giants. Plucky little devils. Their famous DE Strahan holds the world sack record when Favre laid down for him, and they lucked into the Superbowl when Favre tossed them a gift INT in OT.The Giants are an NFL team which earned their way here, and deserve to be playing in the game.
That's why I'm a Patriots fan, not a player. I get to say it when I think it. Well, maybe there are other reasons I'm not a Patriots player: old, slow, flabby, etc.I'm with spacecrime on this one. The Patriots are a Super Bowl team. The Giants are a pretty good team that just happens to be in the Super Bowl. Of course, no Patriot player would say that even if they thought it
The guys on FSNE are right. We're 18-0 but the team that loves to be disrespected is right back where they want to be.
- The Giants' black suits for the funeral.
- Burress' "prediction"; did you see the look on Brady's face about scoring only 17 ?
- The media saying the Giants have momentum.
- The media saying Eli has been the best QB in the playoffs this year.
We couldn't have asked for a better week. The Disrespect Card is back for real. Harrison will walk off the field saying "We were 18-0 but no-one thought we could do it".

All teams prepare and work hard. Even those third grade girls. It isn't enough when going up against a team with more talent that plays better as a team and prepares harder. Although your team certainly does talk a better game. I'll give you that. If they spent a little more time preparing and less time flapping their gums, they might have ... no, sorry. They'd still have no chance.
Better luck next year. If you are smart you will cut Shockey and maybe make the playoffs again.
