Why is Brady listed as probable on the injury report every week? I'm not accusing the Patriots of anything dirty or anything, I'm just curious as to why you think BB does that. Is he just thumbing his nose at the rest of the league in his own small way?

He misses a portion of practice each week to scrape the 24k enamel off his arm.

he does it to make Indy fans paranoid.

Belichick got yelled at by the league when Seymour got left behind on a trip to Denver after being listed as "probable". Since then, Belichick has had some interesting injury reports.

My guess is that Belichick has a strict criteria for getting on the injury report in order to keep the league off his back...something like "if the trainer touches you, you go on the injury report". Maybe Brady gets his arm rubbed down by the training staff after every practice which means he automatically gets listed.

There is absolutely no question it is BB sending an FU to the league about the stupidity of the injury report rules.
They actually set it up nicely for him because now the report has to be based on participation in practice. Each week BB by design gives Brady part of a practice off to not overwork his arm. Therefore, he missed part of practice 'due to his arm' so he is probable.

I wonder just how much this is connected to spygate? I'm of the opinion that the punishment was mostly about BB thumbing his nose at the league. Brady always bein' on the IR made BB a repeat offender.

Nah, he was a repeat offender because he kept taping after the memo went out. If the league wanted them to stop listing Brady on the report, they'd make it happen - either with or without punishment. Why would the punish BB for it but then let it continue?

The other day I spent $160 on an O2 sesnsor for my truck. Why? So my "check engine" light would go out. Why? Because I couldn't tell if anything else was wrong with my engine.

Ergo, if Brady is always on the injury report........

BB does it as a long term dis-information plan.

When the week comes that Brady ACTUALLY IS INJURED; ..... oh look he's on the injury report ..... just like every other week.

I think the reasoning behind it is that BB realizes how critical TB is to the team.
And he thinks if the other team knew that TB was injured in his left knee say; that when they actually got a chance for a sack or to take a post throw shot that they would intentionally try to hit/put pressure on that left leg. (not an illegal hit mind you - just make sure that they "tested out" his health in the unhealthy part of his body).
so the weekly injury report is a long term investment in TB's health.

oh, and oh yeah he gets to shoot a spitwad at Godell at the same time. :D

BB broke Brady's O2 sensor to keep his check engine light on? Brilliant!

I remember Brady saying something similar to this in a interview. Basically to rest his arm he doesn't throw for one of the practices. Since due to that he is considered "limited in practice."

I wonder if Brady has the NFL record for consecutive appearances on an injury report...
