I said I was? Wow, when was that? I'm voicing my opinion junior. Put me on your ignore list because you are now on mine. Later sweetheart.

I don't care that I'm on NSA's ignore list. I guess he thinks that has an effect upon other members or something.

"Sometimes people deserve a good punch in the face"..whew, you've got to be kidding:rolleyes:

I don't know too many MEN who would find it necessary to make that statement even if they believe it. Of course there are instances when we must defend ourselves, but to shut someone up? I say letting an idiot make a fool of himself is good enough.

A "good punch in the face" just puts me on his level and that's not a level I'm willing to stoop to.

Actually, that is the BEST time to hit a guy!

Bring back the rowdiness of Sully! Even network suit-types are saying New England's crowd is soft!

Exactly. Now I know why our crowd is so friggen quiet. We got the whine and cheese crowd inside the stadium. Good lord.

I can shed some light on this. I was in the seat directly behind that Steelers fan who was assaulted and I was also the one who got the Patriots fan who punched him kicked out.

Halfway through the first quarter the Patriots fan who I will refer to as MeatHead starts loudly heckling the Steelers fan who I will refer to as Victim.

Victim was decked out in vintage steelers gear. He never said anything all game and was a very soft spoken nerdy guy. He had a terrible towel that he would periodically wave but every Steelers fan was doing it and the guy was not trying to start **** with anybody.

MeatHead was three rows behind him and 3 seats over. MeatHead kept loudly yelling swears and homophobic slurs at Victim. MeatHead's insults were completely mindless and uncreative and were essentially: "you're F'ing gay you F'ing ***" and things of that ilk. He was bothering EVERYBODY around him. I turned around and glared at him and he started talking **** to me and I told him to shut up and show some class and that winners don't need to berate the other teams fans.

After this he tried to start a fight with me and I just laughed at him and turned around and he tried to egg me on for maybe 5 minutes but I just ignored him and eventually he lost interest like a little child. He then shut up for 2 quarters or so.

Right BEFORE the big play. MeatHead decides to come stand right next to Victim, stands right next to the guy and literally puts his arm around him and starts talking smack. It was then when I felt the guy had overstepped his bounds. I could tell the guy was trying to instigate the fight but the steelers fan did not look like the type that would be able to defend himself. He looked very frightened.

Mind you MeatHead was arms reach from me and I almost cold ****ed him in the back of the head, thats how out of line he was. I fought the urge and immediately went to get him kicked out of the game. This is BEFORE he hit the guy. I go to the ticket guy explain what happened, he gets security and I explain it to the security guy who gets the police. As the police are coming, Victim walks up and looks like he is about to cry and timidly explains how MeatHead just hit him in the back of the head to the cops.

Thats when I knew I was doing the right thing (I am a Pats fan after all). I walked down, pointed the guy out to the police, gave him a nice pat on the back and said "Have fun buddy" and grinned as I walked back to my seat. I personally apologized to the Steelers fan who stuck around for most of the rest of the game.

I don't think the guy that got kicked out was a season ticket holder. My tickets were in the sections they sometimes reserve for random people who have connections with the Krafts and their guests (I was a guest). I think MeatHead also must have gotten his tickets this way as he definitely was not acting like a season ticket holder would.

Anyways I just thought I would fill you guys in on the story.

i was in sec 121 row 9 and there was a steeler fan behind me. everyone was giving him ****. The play where moss dropped it, threw it back to brady and then TD to gaffney, a pats fan 5 rows up jumped down the seats and punched him in the head. he was rip **** saying all this **** about pats fans. finally the police came and kicked the guy out...crazy out there for opposing fans

I'm not happy to hear the drunken thugs are stil operating.

Good info. Thanks.

Well, it appears that the right guy was tossed after all. I know I'd feel silly if I started making some wild assumptions and applying it to someone else's character.

And what is your "regular" screen name Hurricane? Surely you did not just join this site and just "happen" upon this thread. So are you BradytoMoss or Fixit? Nah, no one would be that stupid to sign on under another name! ;)

Nice try!

Thank you for the story.

Points for creativity!

I can't believe that some people think it's fine to attack people at sporting events. Is a football game worth fighting over? Don't be stupid, please.

Your opinion. Who is to say it is "never" right? Surely there are circumstances when it is right. If the guy was talking sh*t the entire time, refused to stop, and was taunting the guy that punched him than he absolutely, positively deserved a punch in the face. Bottom line. Otherwise, this world would have a bunch of punks saying whatever the hell they want, wherever they want, without having to fear the consequences of a getting an arse kicking. This world is full of a bunch of sallies. You know what? Somebody says something disrespectful to my face and continues to do so after I tell him to zip it, than he is going to catch my fist right in his teeth. Bottom line. And, no, I won't feel one ounce of sorrow about it.
And then you can leisurely ponder the difference between words and violence as you cool down in your jail cell. But you probably already know what that's like, right?

He already admitted that was a bogus post kid. Go back and read Fixit's post that said, "Points for creativity"

Oh, for the love of...I was joking.

hahaha you don't have to believe me if you don't want to. I was referred to the site yesterday by "on the heights" (sp?) and I came here looking to see if there was any info about the press conferences from last night (which I missed because I was at the game). I only registered because I saw THE EXACT incident I was a part of.

EDIT: riddle me this. how can fixit and I be signed on at the same time if we are the same person

Regardless, it wasn't a legit post. Do you think it would be coincidence that the guy who broke up the fight and reported it to the police just "happened" to join this site tonight and made that his first post?

C'mon Fixit, I KNOW you're a very smart guy. you can figure this out.

coincidence? I think not.
