Dramatic change to WR Corps?

I would try to use this lineup and throw defenses off balance.
Bourne, Thornton, Boutte,Reagor, Parker.
after next week Bourne, Douglas, Thornton, Reagor, Boutte,
Our receiving corps would do from no separation to electric.
I don’t know why we wouldn’t try to take advantage of the speed.
The defense Would have to choice but to respect it.
I'm 100% with this.
Parker has not provided much, and should be put on notice.
We're at a "nothing to lose" point. Coaches better see that it's time to just let all the young/faster guys play.

Not getting Mccardell or Jefferson as wr coach looks like a big L this season.
I’m telling you I would do whatever I could to get one or both of Welker and Edelman on the next staff.

How many college DBs that Jones faced made it to the NFL? The difference from College to the NFL is night and day.

Jones cannot throw into NFL windows.
I'm tired of this take.
JT O'Sullivan did a video on Mac after the Cowboys game. Go watch it.
Even in that disaster, Mac was making very tight/timing passes.
Sure, he made mistakes, but when given a clean pocket (hardly ever), and when WR's get in their spots (not often), he can throw with anticipation and accuracy. FAR MORE than what Zappe showed last week.

yawn..

Jones was getting the ball out within 2 seconds in some of those games, because thats all the offensive line could give him. In one post you slam him for being a dink and dunk, get the ball out quickly quarterback and then the next post youre saying how he doesnt get the ball out quickly enough lol.. you just create narratives to take a dump on him

You can still call out Mac Jones without making things up and trying to elevate the other players around him to make him look worse.. This entire offense is atrocious, you don't even need to be well versed in football to see and understand some of the problems

Mac is bad
WRs are bad (worst separation in the league if i remember right)
Oline is bad (worst rated in league, give up 50%+ pressure rate)
RBs are bad (worst running game in the league I believe?)

but its a domino effect.. Stevenson and Elliot didnt suddenly become bad RBs, the Oline is a huge component of that. Same with the passing game.

We get it, you don't like Mac Jones
The Pat's only let Corky attempt 3 passes @ Buffalo because it was too windy. NE won.

The Mac Trolls cannot admit the truth.

Agreed. Parker has done nothing. But I'll take that line up. At this point whats there to loose. Speed is what's sorely lacking.

JTO is a Mac Troll.

Go five wide, ball out if hand in in three steps, dink and dunk all the way down the field, getting the ball to the speedy wide-outs hands on the run. It’s worth a shot, nothing else is working.
Agreed. In retrospect maybe what's happening this season, had to happen I. Order for patriots brass to institute organizational change. ?

Boutte and Bourne do not have speed but like the ideaof taking a different approach

We need exactly the opposite.

We need max protect and have more protection for Mac.

Bourne, Henry and Douglas can have lots of production if there is better protection.

This. Absolutely this.

No. No more local heroes as coaches. It gets too awkward to fire them when they fail. Outside blood with outside the bubble ideas is a more fertile base for innovation.

Me?

I would trade away Parker and JuJu...they have done nothing to date. One of them doesn't win 50/50 balls....and the other may be hurt.

Put these guys out there: Bourne, Douglas, Boutte, and Thorton.

Teams are playing single high safety and clogging the middle of the field.

We need to know if Boutte and Thorton can play or not....and now is as good as any time to find out.

absolutely spot on, they have both done anything to justify the cap hits and esp. the extension of parker was a nightmare to me
let the young rookies and thornton play and try to find out before you have a high draft pick and lots of money next year what you currently have on your roster going forward
JSS and Parker would not be in my long term plans, they should be a waste next year

I was shocked they gave Parker an extension. I think they did because Parker wasn't happy about us courting DHop....

JuJu...I get why...YAC...that Dude almost singlehandedly beat us back in 2018/2019 (the Duron Harmon INT-Touchback game in Pittsburgh).

We need to do more work with our RB's both rushing and passing ... and stop play calling by down predictability.
Without that ... the passing game is just going to suffer ... Mac has less than 2 seconds to pass right now.

Our receivers and offense are neither quick or fast enough ... the fundamentals ... play execution ... is where we need to begin again.
We are totally inept at controlling the game ... the clock ... much more persistence developing the run game.

Some years ago it was a widely held opinion that it takes the OL and RB's some plays just to get in sync for that game.
If that leads to less scoring or losses then so be it ... without a good foundation every building falls apart ... next year begins now.

We have no foundation ... our building crumbled because of it the last 2 games.

For a Obrein offense it’s shocking

I was seemingly one of the few people who didn't like the Juju for Jakobi swap this offseason but I don’t think anyone assumed he would be this bad. Contract be damned, he needs to be cut. He is flat out bad and should not be on the field.

He should be on IR and resting up.
It’s clear to me.

I don’t think he's even been on the injury report outside on his recent concussion. He just looks washed. Can't run, can't separate, can't do anything after the catch. Meanwhile Jakobi is thriving as the number 2 guy in Vegas. I don't know if Bill really did let Jakobi walk because he was Team Mac last year or if he truly is this bad at evaluating receivers. Either way the Belichick era needs to end.

Welker is with Miami. Why would he come here? And I doubt that Edelman wants to coach. I'm gonna guess he's making more money for less work now.
