im playing some cards while watching this game, so im not catching every single play but enough.... I'm already seeing horrific calls and no calls

1.) Push off on Philly Tight End on crucial 3rd down play. He pushed off, caught the ball, and this eventually led to the TD that gave the Eagles 21 pts. NO CALL

2.) A slant run by Randy Moss at 00:15 in the 2nd quarter. Lito Sheppard pulls his godamn jersey off of his Right shoulder, exposing his shoulder pads on one side. This blatant contact obviously leads to a Moss incompletion. NO CALL At the end of the play his shoulder pads are still exposed on the right side, i don't see how this could possibly be missed. This caused the pats to get screwed out of 7 points.

3.) Randy Moss offensive PI that was nonexistent.

ill keep adding as i see them.

I'm not even going to mention holding calls b/c thats stupid

Yeah, I loved when Madden was talking about how great the coverage on Moss was, cut to a replay of Moss' jersey getting ripped off and his shoulder pad coming out.

Right now, the refs are giving us the reverse NBA All-Star treatment. As in, in the NBA, a star gets pretty much every call he wants, right now it's the opposite for us. For us, I feel the refs right now are looking at the Pats as such an explosive team, such an unstoppable team, that they just let things go. Moss was getting mauled all nite, no calls.

LOL, look at your signature. Complaining about the one call the refs got right in a game littered with terrible calls. You seem pretty objective.

Thank you, finally, a SANE person!

hes talking about u idi*t...(unless u were being ironic)

btw, sicne ur watching the game, can u check AJ second TD pass? im pretty sure rodney was held and thats how feeley ahd time to com0plete pass...but could u double check for me???

he was coming of the right, bent down a little...and the olinemen pulled his jershey...slowed him down enough to let feeley complete hte TD...

yea it was odd...showing how shepard covers him so well and then the replay showing shep pulling moss's jersey

Don't know man, like I said, that stuff could be called almost every play, both ways. Did the Eagles get away with some holds, I would bet they did. How about the Pats? Same bet. It happens all the time. Sucks, but it does.

if i notice a hold, its a blatant hold...and i notice dthat specific hold...

Need to mention the holding...there were several instances on Philly's O-Line where they held and there was no call...there was also several hands to the face as Light got it a couple of times...

Gee - that's about the 11th time this year isn't it.

Yeah, punk, it is.

Too bad the officials can't call a fair game, that is what they are paid to do.

But your asschump Polian has this league so f#cking backward that no official knows what to call anymore. Everything is pass interference when it comes to the Pats (rule change) and nothing is holding when it comes to teams like the Dolts/Eagles (rule change).

I noticed that, too. The tackle hooked his arm around Rodney's shoulder. Another blatant non-call came in the fourth during the Eagles' penultimate drive (about 6:00 left), 3rd and 3, Junior Seau blitzes from the D's right side and beats Westbrook, who grabs Seau around the waist to prevent the sack. No call, pass complete, first down Eagles.

Noticed both of those this morning watching my DVR. Don't know why the refs let them play, but that's got to go both ways. :enranged:

I saw the Westbrook/Seau hold last night when it happened. I was furious. If I'm able to pick up a hold in real time, then the referee should be able to as well. I know there is holding on every play, blah blah blah, but when the guy grabs his waist and then holds on to him I think that might constitute a hold. Of course, what do I know?

Did any of you happen to catch how many times Moss extended his arm on the defenders EVERY time he made a cut inside? No, I didn't think so.

Making stuff up doesn't help your already weak-ass game.

Jon Runyan is notorious for getting away with alot of holding.(I noticed on one of Feeley's TD passes, one of the Pats' DL was throwing his arms up in the air). I believe Michael Strahan eluded to this in his book.

He may be regarded as one of the best OTs, but no wonder why he never goes to Pro Bowls.

I can't remember the play, but there was a bad block in the back by one of the Eagles O-linemen that went uncalled. I noticed this during live action, and was scratching my head as to how they missed it.

I thought both Moss and the defender were hand fighting and creating contact with eachother, so I couldn't understand the offensive PI call, and I wouldn't have thought it fair if they had called PI on the defender either.

The defensive holding/defensive PI that wasn't called in Moss favor was unreal. As Randy's getting into his route the defender reaches out and yanks his jersey to the point where Moss' shoulder pad comes out. The replay showed this very clearly......but it wasn't called.

Here's a none call I haven't seen mentioned in this thread...

Remember James Sanders INT? The offensive player turned defender reached out and grabbed Sanders by the facemask. He then yanks Sanders to the ground using said facemask. That's a dangerous play and should have resulted in a 15 yard penalty.
