not to be a di.ck but what is the actual quote? did he say something like "It's no more important than any other regular season game" or did he say "this game doesn't matter?" I think that's an important distinction and I'm pretty sure BB would say the same thing, that we want to win week in and week out no matter who the opponent is and this game is no different than any other in that regard.
I can't believe that a guy that so many people say they respect around the NFL is already making excuses for if his team loses.
Let's be clear, Bill Belichick would never say something this stupid.
