If we put up 52 against the Redskins, how many will we put up against the Jets?

Just thinking about this now. Clearly the consensus among the league and other fans is that we're running up the score. I don't think this is a bad thing, and I think teams should stop complaining about it. Also, I think BB isn't intentionally giving a huge "FU" to the league, but is simply keeping his players playing hard to benefit the team. The more playing time they get together, the more it's drilled into them to play hard every down every play, the better the team will be.

That being said, the ONE game where I think he'd *DEFINITELY* *REALLY* *ABSOLUTELY* want to send a MASSIVE F-U to another team would be against the Jets.

So, do you guys have any ideas for what the score might look like? The jets are almost as bad as the Dolphins, and we put up 42 in a half against them. The Redskins had a top ranked defense and we just put up 52 in a game.

We could realistically be looking at 70-80 OR MORE points against the Jets if the Pats went out there and just tried to make them look like fools - deep passes, quick drives, starters in the entire game, etc.

100-14 Pats victory? I know I'd love to see it. Might not be *completely* unrealistic, although clearly a stretch.

Any thoughts?

I could see 8 touchdowns (if the weather is OK)

I can honestly say that I would love for it to be 70-0. And then for mangini to implode in the post game press conference

If the Jets have a good game I can see us winning by 21 - something like 40-19

If the Jets have a bad game I see us winning by 35 - something like 38-3

5 points or 50 points.....it doesn't matter.....all I know for sure is....it won't be enough...

That would great. I got tickets to that game, so I'm hoping for the Patriots to put a record-breaking hurt on Ratgini and crew.

Getcha popcorn ready! :D

I'll stick to my score I posted after ratgate came out in full, and who was behind it 76-6. I f BB is doing this type of scoring to show he doesn't need camera's, or to say screw you to the league what do you think he'll do the traitorous Rat that stabed him in the back?

Belichick is holding back on these other teams. The Jets will not be so lucky.

Belichick is going to unleash the hounds of hell upon Mangina. It could be a massacre of historic proportions. I'm thinking 70+ points

I think the betting line will be somewhere at Patriots -24 vs. Jets

Would you lay a grand on the line that week for the Patriots laying 24 points..or are you going to?

Honestly, what ever we want. The only thing that would limit our TD totals is the clock. Thats it. If we want to put up 50, we will. If we want to put up 70, we will. If we want to put up more, well, we will put up as many as the clock permits.

One million. He's not going to run the score like you all think I guarantee. The score will be an embarrassment but it won't be a childish vendetta score like 70 something to nothing. We will score in the 40s and they will probably get 14. BB will walk to the middle of the field, they'll coldly shake hands and that will be it. Same old story. BB hates Mangina and vice versa but he's not going to make a media show out of this and he's not going to jeopardize the team to put up a bigger score than he already has this weekend. Everyone who saw the Skins game today could see that the Pats could have scored 80 if they wanted to. Do you really think that if the Pats ring up 45-10 or something then throw in Cassel et. al that Mangini wouldn't be embarrassed? he would know that the difference between 45-10 and 65-10 in that scenario is that BB doesn't need to do it.

I would like triple figures. Why not?

I'd like to see Belichick present Manjudas with a tape of the game at the press conference.:singing:

38-0 is enough to me

I think we could beat them by a silly number, if we take the 52-7 as a baseline, then by seven or more TD's, maybe trying to score in the 60's or 70's.

Here's my concern: I think that the coaching staff is going to have to control this thing starting in practice the week before. Smash the Jests around long enough to make it clear that it could have been a lot worse, then get brady and most of the key guys off the field as soon as possible. We've got a more important goal.

We put up 50 MINIMUM........... and that's if it's a blizzard.

I wonder what the line is for the Jets game. It's early, but someone must have set one.
