Polian & Dungy Whining To The League Again

You people are off the charts hypocritical. If a "complaint" is filed you can be sure the Pats fans will by crying. If this same thing happened to NE, the whinning would be world class. "See, they don't want us to go undefeated". "See, we can't cheat - they don't want us to go undefeated". Wahhhh, wahhhh, wahhhh. As one poster stated, let's play the game so we can extend our winning streak to 4 games against you. It's freaking amazing to listen to you guys.

Why can't you guys understand we're not talking about the fans here? Fans whine. It's what we do. And they do plenty of obsessing and whining and complaining regarding the Pats on the Indy boards too. What you could explain to me is how the Colts organization maintains this pristine, wholesome, "classy" reputation when their GM is out there making a fool of himself all the time making the team look like a bunch of whiners? Can you say media bias?

Is your reading comprehension that poor? During the 2004 NFL season, the Patriots had to play a Monday night road game in Miami followed by a Sunday afternoon road game against the New York Jets.

http://www.nfl.com/teams/schedule?team=NE&season=2004&seasonType=REG

The Patriot had to face the starting quarterback for the Jets not some third string 40+ year old quarterback as the Colts will this Sunday. Furthermore, the New York Jets were a superior opponent in 2004 than the offensively neutered Carolina Panthers of 2007.
Was it noodle arm you faced?? with your buddy HERM as the coach? Lock it up, that's a "W"!!

Hey dipweed, I referenced the previous posters reference to last year, NOT '04. I realize they did it in '04.

Yeah, you're a hateful guy, congratulations.

I'm glad you have your life's priorities straight. I'm sure you're a successful happy guy with an attitude like that.

Let me see:

Gainfully employed doing something I love? Check.
Married to a great woman? Check.
First kid on the way? Check.
True friends and family? Check.
Riding lawnmower? Check.
Good cigars? Check.
Man enough to either insult someone flat-out or shut my cakehole? Check.
Not trying to demean or oppress anyone because someone told me that God doesn't like it? Check.

And does anyone know where to find out what complaints are filed with the league office? Every team files complaints and I would be very interested to find out what the Pats are complaining about, because to hear you guys they never complain. Hell, maybe they don't, but I want to see for myself.

Just the fact that you'd have to dig for it should tell you something. The Colts front office publicly whines routinely. Coincidentally, it always seems to be just before a big game.

You only found Dungy's comments annoying? That wouldn't be because the Colts have been beating you guys of late and you hate them would it?

So any criticism of the Colts by a NE fan is because I hate the Colts? Can I also throw out your criticism of NE on the same basis? Either engage in the discussion on a rival team's board rationally, or don't act like a smart ass. It only detracts from your argument and makes you look like you cannot address criticism of your team head on.

I never had a problem with Dungy. That's why I was surprised by his comments, if you read my post.

And as far as what Dungy said about the owner, how do you know he was singling out your owner?

Is this a joke? Of course he was talking about Kraft. You know that, don't act oblivious.

He said he's glad he doesn't work for a win at all costs owner, of which there are quite a few, why is that offensive to you? I honestly know jack-**** about Kraft, is he that kind of guy or something? If so, why do you find it offensive that he's glad he doesn't work for that kind of guy?

I never said I found Dungy's comments "offensive." But they were cheap shots at Kraft, that much was clear as day. That's pretty much all there is to it. Dungy wasn't trying to hide his comments, so I don't even see where the argument that he wasn't talking about Kraft even is.

Translation for HBMs post, = your team's situation wasn't as bad as mine.......no team ever has and never will have it as bad as the Colts these 2 weeks.

OK Fixit, you're a great human being.

Just look at your sig, that's why no one likes the Pats or their fans, "Humiliate the league in every way"? Classy.

I was angry then. Spy-Gate was too fresh.

Also, it's a message board.

Yet Polian is complaining about THIS YEAR. In previous seasons, Super Bowl champions faced the same challenges without that organization complaining to the league. As for New York in 2004, the Jets were within two missed field goals of the AFC Championship Game while the Colts could only muster THREE MEASLY POINTS!

THREE POINTS CHUMP! THREE POINTS CHUMP!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, well, the article I learned about the Colts complaint from was a Boston source, so just the fact that you guys are so obsessed over the Colts that you report BS as this as "news" tells me something.

Uh, doesn't mean it's not news.

Media bias.

Yeah, we know, the national media which portrays Indy as a one horse hick town is biased towards us. Come on. Don't play that dumbass card. It's cheap and stupid.

LOL! good one. But I don't think the media is biased toward your town. I think the bias is for your QB and by association extends throughout your football team. And while you're dispensing wisdom please educate this dumbass as to why Polian gets a free pass for his boorish behavior while BB is vilified?

No, I don't know he's talking about Kraft. I just said I know jack sh it about Kraft, do you think I'm lying or something? I've never heard any mention of the guy except that he owns the Patriots. That's literally all I know about the guy. So, why is it Dungy was talking about him exactly?

Because in Dungy's comments about spygate and how bad it was, etc, he said that he's glad he doesn't work for an owner who has a win at all costs mentality. I took from those comments that Belichick, on the other hand, does work for that type of owner in Kraft. I thought that was completely unnecessary and a cheap shot.

It's not a huge deal, it's not the worst thing Dungy could have said, but it really annoyed me. If you want to say something about Belichick, fine whatever, but don't extend it to the owner. That's not the right thing for a head coach of another team to do.

But, it is what it is. I'm sure they will strap it on and go play.

You say "It is what it is."

But that's not what the Colts are saying, and it's not the Colts way.

Their way is to whine.

If "it is what it is", you don't whine and complain, you strap it on and keep your trap shut. It's the way of a true warrior.

Don't try to co-opt a Patriot-ism, especially when the shoe does not fit.

They are not taking this as an "It is what is situation." "It is what it is" means acceptance and move on. Not so for the Colts.

They are always the kid at the teacher's desk after class, trying to work their grade for a cupla extra points. Earn it when your professor challenges you with a tough assignment. Don't go looking for an out.

You took the time to type out "Bahahahahaha"?

BTW, how many points did the Colts muster the Past few times they've played the Pats?
Funny how at the end of day in 2004, the Jets were a more competitive playoff team than the vastly overhyped Indy Colts.

During 2004 AFC Divisional Playoffs, the Colts shock and awe offense was shockingly awful!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Ok sorry, I thought he said that about the "winning at all costs" after they won the Super Bowl, not during Spy Gate. And I don't know, is Kraft the kind of owner? I don't know. Did he know they were doing that? I mean Jerry Jones and Al Davis always seemed like asses to me because of their "win before class" attitudes, but honestly those are the only two owners I know anything about besides the Colts.

Kraft said he didn't know, and I'll take him at his word. He also made some comments right after news that the Jets had caught a Pats camera man that led me to believe he thought it all a whole lot of nothing, so I definitely think he had no idea that it was going on. Belichick is so secretive anyway, it's no big leap to assume he doesn't talk about this stuff with many people.

And from your earlier post, you said a lot of people said things about Spy Gate but you only found Dungy's offensive, which is why I asked if it was because the Colts have beaten the Pats a few times. It came off snarky, but I mean, if lots of people said things about it, and lord knows Dungy wasn't the only one who commented on it, why is it you singled out his comments and his comments alone as "annoying"?

Because most people took shots at Belichick. That doesn't bother me much because Belichick did deserve criticism. I thought the shot at Kraft was unwarranted, which is why it bothered me that Dungy did it.

So you don't know how many points the Colts scored? How about how many the Pats scored? I've forgotten too, but I can look it up if you want. I seem to remember something about the Colts winning.....seems like twice in NE.....but I could be wrong.

The monumental outrage of Polian filing a complaint with the office has me all discombobulated.

What does him assaulting a Jets employee do to you?

At least the Patriots anemic and injured offense showed up last year in the AFC Championship Game. What's the Colts pathetic excuse for a feeble three point offensive effort in the 2004 AFC Divisional Playoffs?

How many tapes and complaints would say the league office gets every Monday or Tuesday? And you want to single us out. Of course, the league office probably doesn't have any more room for tapes now do they?

This is a tough argument . . . uh, yeah . . . let me see . . . . I want to argue about the 2004 playoffs. Um, nooooo - I don't think so. Wasn't that the last season the Pats were Super Bowl Champs? Nothing but AFC Least banners since then? Right?

As opposed to the Colts turning up the heat and pumping in the crowd noise while playing at home?
