Miami's Wasted Top 10 Pick Ginn Not Progressing As Planned

Yeah, great job defending yourself. Pick out a typo on my post rather than defend your rather degrading comments.

Aqua -
GJAJ15 is not me. You claiming that he was defending himself when all he did was point out your own stupidity in your reply to me shows that you aren't capable of rational thought. You aren't capable of stringing a series of thoughts and ideas together to make a coherent train of thought.

You are nothing but a 19 year old piece of garbage who thinks he is talking the talking and walking the walk. The reality is that you are just flapping your trap proving to everyone that the things that people like GJAJ15 and myself are saying about you are fact and not just opinion.

BTW, I understand now why you love Ginn so much. You have at least one thing in common. You are both too stupid for your own good.

Because I don't choose to serve in a war that I feel is entirely pointless that makes me worthless? BS, you're not in the military either so don't give me that ****. When are you going to grow up? I have an excuse, what's yours?

I will type v e r y s l o w l y so even you might possibly understand.

I was contrasting your juvenile faux macho behaviour here (e.g. challenging folks to flag football game against a team you're not even on) with the mature selfless behaviour of many fine young men and women your own age. It has nothing to do with supporting the war or not. Stop playing the whining victim card and try to grow up.

You could serve in the Coast Guard, you know. They are a branch of the Military. And they primarily serve along the US Coast. Heck, you could serve in the Navy and wouldn't be doing much over there.

Whether or not you feel the war is pointless (which I find laughable since you haven't shown you can comprehend things of that magnitude), your victim mentality and your ineptitude don't preclude you from having to deal with the consequences of your actions. You are worthless because you are a little pissant who gets his jollies of of ridiculing people who risk their lives to protect the freedom you abuse.

Sorry, but at 19, you don't have an excuse to act like a complete imbecile.

Boys, boys, I don't know how on earth you guys started talking about the war on this. I don't even want to know, in fact.

I've seen Ginn play. He's lightning fast- he'll get anyone out of their shoes in the open field. You have to remember the kid got injured in that tragic game Jan. 8. Cameron might know things we don't as far as that's concerned. Barring anything still lingering from that injury he'll start as flanker by mid-season and probably have run one punt back. He's built a little small but his speed will give Miami a deep threat. Don't look at him as a wasted pick, he'll be able to help stretch the field.

Sorry, but when the coach has to take away kick return duties from a 1st round draft pick and put the starting running back there because you can't get the job done, its an issue. Particularly when you were the one that the coach tabbed as being the guy to take over for the guy they traded.

Sorry, but Ginn losing his kick-return responsibilities is a sure sign that he's NOT progressing the way he should.

Well yes, that's exactly what the article said. I never questioned the fact that he was not progressing. I simply gave a reason why this might be true. And what to look for if he actually is healthy like they say he is. I never mentioned the kick returning responsibility once. I don't think it is fair to tab him as a Wasted Pick. JeMarcus Russell would have to be considered the same looking at his progression, or lack thereof, in camp. Everyone has to remember that camp and preseason games mean very little. The three years the Pats won there super bowls i think they went 1-3 in pre season. These game do nothing more than let a coach make his final roster.

The problem is that your "theory" doesn't fly. If Ginn was still hurting from his injury, he wouldn't be out there on punt returns because you need more quickness and cutting ability on punt returns than you need on kick returns. In fact, if your theory had any validity, he'd be out there on KICK returns and not punt returns.

I think its very fair to tab him as a wasted pick considering he was drafted to replace Wes Welker. Your own coach tabbed him as a kick/punt returner who would slowly work his way into the receiving corps. You don't draft a friggin Kick/Punt returner with a top 10 pick unless you KNOW he's going to be on the field immediately as a receiver as well.

While the RECORDS of pre-season games means very little, how the players, ESPECIALLY HIGHLY TOUTED ROOKIES like Ginn, need to show that they were worth the pick. That is what Mankins did when he was drafted. Same with Seymour. The fact that Ginn has has responsibilities taken away from him and, because of this, has put more wear and tear on your starting RB, it has to be concluded that he's not meeting expectations. The expectations of a TOP 10 pick.

I suggest that, instead of making excuses and trying to spin the subject in a way that attempts to make what the Phins have done look intelligent, you look at it for what it is. A TOP 10 pick that is already not performing to expectations.

Well, your belief that the Patriots went 1-3 in each of the pre-seasons that they won the SB is false. In 2001, they went 3-1. In 2003, the Pats went 4 and 0. In 2004, the Pats went 1-3.

So, yes, the team Pre-season record doesn't mean much. But the evaluation of players means a TON. And when a Top 10 pick has his role reduced drastically, any sane person would view it as a Red Flag.

I would take Ginn over Jamarcus Russel, but that is because Russel is just a big arm who wants to be paid 35 times what he is worth. Ginn has potential, but there is no way he should have been drafted #9 overall. Miami should have tried to trade down a few spots, and then get him at a more reasonable spot, and have an extra pick, or move up another time.

I stopped reading what you said after the flag football statement. You don't know what you're talking about, shut up.

Maybe the same reason he's taking away carries from Brown and giving them to Chatman. Or maybe like calling the Green/Lemon battle just that, a battle. Maybe it's like starting Mormino and Alabi over Hadnot and Shelton. It's called window dressing/smoke screening, figure it out moron.

By the way, any one with a half of a brain can figure out that Ginn isn't just going to be a kick returner. Did you watch the Dolphins pre-season game tonight? Ginn made some big catches and even had an important block on a 3rd and long first down scramble.

Spin, spin spin. No wonder everyone thinks you are stupid Aqua. You have BS excuses for everything.

1) In training camp, you don't take responsibilities away from a rookie unless they are failing at the ones you want them to focus on. Clearly that is the case.

2) In training camp, you give your starters a rest and work to evaluate the others that you have. That is why Chatman is getting time. Its why Mormino and Alabi saw time. So that the coaches can evaluate them in a game condition. Its NOT window dressing.

Aqua, listen, you've been WRONG every step of the way. Your calling me a moron when its clear you don't have a CLUE as to what is going on with the Dolphins is the sign of a desperate person who has lost his grip on reality.

Aqua, you are a child. You clearly aren't even 10% as smart as you think yourself to be. Instead of sitting there and defending your ignorance to the death, you'd look a lot smarter if you shut your mouth and listen to what others have to say. Especially when its clear that their understanding of the game far surpasses that of your own.

Ginn had some big catches? REALLY? 3 catches for a whopping 29 yards? Am I trully supposed to be impressed with that?

First off, Ginn is going to be lucky if he's more than just the PUNT Returner. He lost his kick returning duties. With the fact that the Phins STUPIDLY made him a top 10 pick, he should have already taken the starting job from Marty Booker. Everyone knows that hasn't happened. Everyone knows that Ginn isn't where the coaching staff expected him to be.

Yes, in 2-3 years Ginn MIGHT be a starting WR. But until then, he sure as hell doesn't look like a Top 10 pick and it will hurt the Dolphins. You seem to forget that Cameron introduced Ginn as a KR/PR. And, well, he's already lost 50% of those duties, forcing Cameron to have to rely on Ronnie Brown, your starting RB for them..That will just put more wear and tear on Brown and make him less effective in the running game.

HOF bound already!

Aren't you guys always raving about Wes Welker making big 3rd down catches for first downs?

YES! BIG CATCHES, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID! One catch was kept an 18 play drive going on 3rd and 5 and the other kept that same drive going on 4th and 2. I guess those aren't big catches huh? His 3rd catch was also for a first down but it was a 1st and 10. Yeah, we really need Welker to move the chains huh?

I'm so glad we lost Welker and have Ginn. It's not even a contest who wil have the better NFL career, NOT EVEN CLOSE!

God damn dude, this site is terrible with double standards and you are the king. Almost all of your posts have double standards in them, you tell me that I always spin things positively for the Fins, well you always spin the negatively. Practice what you preech douch, you are the biggest hipocrite I've ever talked too.

Again, the return responibilites are something you don't know what you're talking about. Ronnie has lost carries, Shelton and Hadnot didn't start the first 2 games, Green and Lemon were supposedly in a QB battle. Ever herd of a reading between the lines? I'm sure this is all for real and the Fins will open the season with Chatman, Lemon, Mormino and Alabi, you're probably right.
