I hope he figures it out or this a problem this team doesn't need.
Dan Bailey also missed a FG today, even the good kickers miss, I still need more evidence to make my mind about a possible decline.
Anyway its 2 already, its totally possible we will see some go for it in 4th downs instead of a 48yard attempt in some games.
He missed in the AFCCG, this preseason and two during the regular season. I'm not ready either to call it a decline, but its almost like that miss in the AFCCG has caused an internal battle issue.
If he's missing these kicks because of a lack of confidence, he should be cut immediately.Carpenter (who is pretty good) also missed a kick from similar range.
Ghost is still awesome, his Kick-offs have been spectacular all season. I don't think the misses are related by any psychological affliction, such as lack of confidence.
He'll fight through this. Sometimes a player just isn't feeling it and needs to reset by changing up their training regimen or technique. Who know's what he needs to change to get back on track, but let's not throw in the towel. If he's missing these kicks because of a lack of confidence, he should be cut immediately.
He missed 2 all season in 2014. Only 3 all of last year too.
If it's a problem from that AFCCG then I hope he can get his head straight quickly. We are not a SB contender with an unreliable Ghost.
I don't think it's a confidence issue. Why? Because, if it was, Belichick would go the Jimmy Johnson route and do exactly what I just said should happen. He'll fight through this. That's what happened with the Cowboys. Belichick would probably know, though. I think it's more likely that he's trying to work through something. Whether it's a minor injury or a tweak of his mechanics, I couldn't tell you. That's only if he admits he has a confidence issue right? I could see that being tough to tell the coach.

SMH.. OMG.. He missed an 48 yard field goal. The world is ending.. He sucks. Bring on Robbie Gould..
Seriously people. WTF are you all thinking! 48 yard field goals in the rain are no gimmee. Acting like it's a 22 yard chip shot that he shanked wide right by 10 yards instead of by a foot is just laughable.
