This game has all the markings of a total trap game. I honestly think Rex Ryan will pull out all the stops as he has a very good chance of being fired if his 0-3 Bills come into Gillette and lose to a backup, or 3rd string QB on a division opponent.

The Bills are going to lose to AZ this weekend, that's a given...but Do any of you feel this is a trap game?

Hard to see the Pats taking anyone lightly with a 3rd string QB (or banged up 2nd string QB) playing, but if the Bills stumble in at 0-3 the Pats probably wouldn't have that underdog/got 'em right where we want 'em thing going on.

Best case the Bills beat the Cards this weekend in Buffalo. Not impossible. Rex's teams after a good win are always catastrophically bad.

Divisional home games are never trap games this early in the season.

A game that would normally have the hallmarks of a trap game would be the road game against a terrible Cleveland team. But something tells me they'll be up for that game.

Rex's mouth and that of his Jabba-the-Hut-looking brother will not let this be a trap game.

The return of TB12 AND Josh Gordon...Should be interesting to say the least!

First off what is a trap game in reality? Well it is a number of things and we need to break it down.

What the so called trap game really is about is 2 teams putting in different levels of effort and desire throughout the week up to and including the game. It is also about calls and bounces not going your way.

So do i think this could be a trap game? probably not. Why? The Pats had a "trap half" vs Miami very recently and playing that badly that recently tends to bring you back to reality that the difference between you and everyone else is not huge and if you don't give it everything you have and the other team does the score can really swing the other way. In reality the difference between 7 points one way or the other is usually very small and precise. Being 1% better on a single play can easily be the difference between a tight window pass being completed for a first down or a pick 6. The margin is that small and when we see scores like 27-0 we forget the Pats BARELY won battles within each given play most times but barely winning them consistently adds up to those large score differences.

So do i believe the Bills can come in here and put more effort in than the Pats? Yes. Absolutely. Do I believe the Pats are in a position to have a let down game? Not really. Sure they had a great win but that Miami half is still too fresh to have a let down. So while The Bills could come in here and be totally desperate and try harder almost all that effort is wasted if the other team shows up well as you quickly burn yourself out if you don't get results doing it.

The bounces could go the bills way but considering how many bounces i think it would take the above being true i don't believe it would happen. Much depends on JAG and Brissett. Brissett did okay but you don't win in the NFL much with a QB playing the way he did. That was an amazing show case by 44 of the 45 other dressed players and we can not expect it to be repeated. With JAG in and effective I don't think they can lose unless they have a let down which i think won't happen. With a QB like Brissett i think losing is always possible as he is just not that good at the moment.

No chance. Not with Sexy Rexy and the rest of the Jills as walking billboards for motivation.

The game last year up here was tight. I think BB will be reminding them that for the next several days.

I am a pessimist by nature, so any game, against a divisional opponent, is a potential loss, and we have a few of those every year...we lose games we should have won, and win games we should have lost. TBH, Rex Ryan honestly believes that HE, not the players, determines who wins and loses games. His ME ME ME attitude is what makes him suck so much.

He knows they need to win this game, its their Superbowl...it really is. If he wants to continue to be a head coach, this game is a MUST WIN for the bills....that is why I am calling it a trap game.

Dude, it's Rex "About to get his *** fired" Ryan. I'm not worried one bit.

There's no such thing as a trap game. Trap game is a false correlation that players use to describe the reason for a loss, despite that they often exhibit the same loose or overconfident behavior in games where they win. The idea of a trap game also makes the false assumption that NFL players share a collective consciousness.

Statisticians and oddsmakers do not adjust point spreads based on whether or not they think there will be a
"trap game" because the variation of statistics accounts for favorites losing to underdogs. If you go back and look at some of the "trap games" the Patriots have lost over the years, you'll note that their winning percentage against bad opponents is about as expected, or even better than expected, but the fact that no team can win 100% of the time makes us point to specific losses and falsely explain them as "trap games."

Turnovers and other key correlations like red zone offense and red zone defense often explain unlikely losses much better than "attitude" or "preparation", which is a constant in New England and if often a constant for all teams.

I hope the fans at the game have a few " Goodbye Rex, it was Nice Knowing You" signs ready to display in the closing moments.... :D

While this would be way, way above Bills' fans IQ's and their level of awareness of global affairs, but how about a few "Rex-it" signs...

Whether it's Garapolo or Brisset you can guarantee that the QB will not be overlooking this game. This game will be the last game for either for the forseeable future (hopefully), so I do not have any worries about them taking this game lightly. Escpecially for Garapolo, right or wrong this game will have a signfiicant impact in contract negotiations with any team.

Over/under on the amount of penalty yards called on the Buffalol Jills? I'll set it at 105 yards and take the over.

How about a few " Kiss my Toes" signs
