NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Teddy Bridgewater's knee injury was "gruesome," and that his teammates were "disturbed and horrified," with some even throwing up.

Fake twitter on that

What was fake?

Fake was a poor choice of words. I should have just quoted Ian himself:

I said this. But what I meant was they were noticeably affected. Regrettably, it was not meant literally.

There are no substantiated reports of anyone throwing up, and the claim of vomiting has been refuted by at least one other reporter.

My apologies for any confusion.

No biggie
When you said fake. For some reason i thought i put a fake ian twitter account

Poor Teddy. A legend even among legends from down the street at Miami Northwestern.

I dont like a doc who happens to be spot on all the time, more offen then not, useing words as best case.
I know its early, but I dont think you can rule out, that Vikings may have to "restart" depending on dmg toward the knee...

Good news is there's no known nerve damage:

“Teddy Bridgewater suffered a non-contact injury today at practice,” Vikings head trainer Eric Sugarman said in a statement. “The injury was quickly identified as a dislocated knee. The injury was stabilized, and he was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation. After undergoing an MRI, it was determined that Teddy suffered a complete tear to his ACL and other structural damage. Fortunately, there appears to be no nerve or arterial damage. Surgical repair will be scheduled within the next few days. Although the recovery time will be significant, we expect Teddy to make a full recovery. I would like to thank all of the medical professionals and our athletic training staff for all of their help today. Teddy has already displayed the attitude needed to overcome this injury and attack his rehab.”

Bridgewater has torn ACL and dislocated knee, but no nerve damage

It's now being reported as dislocated knee, complete ACL tear and some other structural damage. No nerve or arterial damage.

Hope that's true, based on reports it sounded like it could be worse.

No reports on how he injured himself? To get injured this bad alone its difficult to imagine

He was in a non contact passing drill. Took the snap, hop plant on the right leg. Folded like a beach chair.

Yikes, sounds like one of the more gruesome and freakish injuries we've seen in the NFL in some time. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.

Really happy to hear he's avoided nerve damage. Great kid, was looking pretty good this preseason... Really scrappy player. In a league of diva QBs Teddy is one to appreciate.

Hope he can make a full recovery and come back stronger.

There goes my fantasy season.....

When I blew up my knee and after the first of many surgeries they told me no nerve damage, Many surgeries and a new knee and 6 years later they say I have massive nerve damage.,....duh....I knew that two weeks after they fixed it. I think it is early to say no nerve damage....but Im not a doctor...just a guy that gets broken a lot.

Reminds me a bit of Robert Edwards...I still feel bad for that kid...I feel bad for Teddy also.

Hopefully he will recover completely and resume his career. Good luck TB!
