He said he had to lose some weight to compete in the 7s and he's trying to gain it back. He must have orders from BB to grab some Ruffles, some Haagen-Dazs and turn on House of Cards.

I love Brazilian steakhouses. He has no excuse. Eat at those places for 2 weeks straight and he'll have no problemo puttin' the meat back on the bones.

He still has a long way to go to make a dent in the WR battles, but this might complicate things a bit.

With Mitchell's injury and Dobson being Dobson, Nate Washington may still have a couple of preseason games to catch on.

What's up with K.Martin? I assume injury. Do you have any feel for the severity of it?

None of the beat guys have a clue what type of injury, but they always mark it as an "undisclosed injury" on their reports. I would guess it would be a hamstring, since that was what kept him out of a few games last year and it may be a lingering thing.

So, is Amendola off PUP now?

was hoping for Vollmer and Cooper today ...

I can hear you getting fatter.

:p

This concerns me a bit. This is the third practice in which he's done this.

This seems to be becoming a thing in recent practices, which is a bit surprising after so many of the more encouraging tweets earlier in camp. It bears watching. The consensus was that he was drafted where he was in part due to his extensive and effective STs play at Alabama. C'mon, Cy.

Hopefully, it's not injury related. He looks to be a real handful for O-lineman.
He tweaked something in the Thursday night game. The trainers were looking at his lower leg area. He did return to the game, though. Maybe it's more of the team just being cautious...won't be good if we're down both of our starting DE's going into the season.

It's 9 thousand degrees with 100% humidity out there...I couldn't catch my goddamned breath for krissakes. Cyrus Jones performed BEYOND my expectations last Thursday...let's wait until this Thursday before declaring he needs the dreaded "watching".

Cmon Darryl Roberts. You are killing me.
He has not played well at all yet, but it is also his first football action since last preseason. I think he showed enough to intrigue the coaches (like us), but I'd say he better start turning in some better practices and preseason performances very soon. Jones seems to be widening the gap with every practice from what I've gleaned. They're likely fighting for just one more spot at CB.

For me Joker, I'm totally fine with his play so far in practices overall and in the game last week. He seems like he's got a fast track to making the roster with how physical he's been. As a matter of fact in a few practices he's been close to sacking the QB which is amazing. I have no qualms with him whatsoever. The reason I pointed out the dropped punt is that it seems to have become a trend in practices for him. Do I think it's going to translate into actual football games in 28 days? Of course not! He's done it in Alabama for goodness sake, a pressure filled arena and atmosphere. Just something I've noticed being reported a lot which raised my eyebrow a bit. I certainly give him a pass for it today since it was frigging hotter than Satan's butthairs, and everyone can attest to that. But the other two times have me wondering what's up in that regard. Perhaps a visit to the JUGS machine is in order. And no, not THOSE jugs....

LeBlanc better be a shutdown corner with a name like that.
