Brady Helping Celtics Recruit Kevin Durant

Bull. Go tell that to Hanley. Or Papi. Or Mookie. Or any of the Pats.

That's a tired argument. Go ask Pierce. Isaiah. Garnett. Perkins. Those are just some.

Lol at you not understanding the difference in culture between Dominicans and American blacks.

Celts were old men with families who came together for a ring. Please. I'm sorry it offends you that young black athletes have little to no interest in Boston as a city, but it is a fact.

Anyone who has Comcast the Celtics vs 76'ers and Ben Simmons is starting now.
Don't usually care about summer league but the Celtics have a deep summer roster this year.

Saying a young black man might prefer Atlanta, LA or Houston is reasonable. Not saying I agree, but it's reasonable.

However, that's not what you said. You said: "I can't imagine a worse hell for a young black star than Boston."

You're desperately trying to change what you wrote and hope no one notices. At least own your own statement.

Quoting this because it deserves to be seen again.

Damn letekro. What the hell happened to you, man? You used to be a must-read on this forum.

As for KD, I really don't see how you stop that team now. Once they figure out their spacing (and that will take time), they'll be unstoppable.

Ben Simmons is a player ... real smart - real fluid - real smooth.

All of a sudden, the Cavs are everyone's favorite team come June now lol. Would love to see the Dubs choke in the finals again. Things were a lot more fun pre the first decision when it was only like one or two all stars per contender.

At the point, I probably dislike the Dubs only a little less than the Cavs. If any team is going to make it out of the West, I want it to be the Spurs. But I really don't see how anyone is stopping them. They now have a threat that can consistently slash and score in the paint. With the 3 point shooting they possess, they will be impossible to defend.

Would have to be a dominate versatile big like Anthony Davis to eat them alive at this offrnsivly to try to get them out of small. But...his team sucks. Even then, Green's versatility is so good.

Prediction: Like every other dream team in every other sport they will not win a championship next year.

Well, no dream team has ever been as established and proven as winners (so recently) as much as Golden State.

It all just seems so... lame. What happened to sportsmanship? What happened to "my crew versus your crew"? What happened to wanting to be the top dog and leading a team to a title? Now it's just "oh, my team lost to this team, I guess I'll just go join them" or "I'm gonna call up a couple other superstars and coordinate all signing with the same team together".

It's just stupid. Especially in a league where one individual superstar makes such a huge difference.

Meh, he gave the Okies 9 good years that should have belonged to Seattle anyway. The Warriors are going to be even more fun to watch than they already were.

I'm holding out hope that somehow, Westbrook gets to the Spurs. Given the cap constraints and lack of assets to send back OKC's way, I know it's improbable but hell, that would be an epic head to head especially in light of Durant's move.

Yeah, I think all the "omg I hate him now!" responses are a little over the top, but I am a bit disappointed in him. Thought he was one of the most competitive guys in the NBA, but clearly that's not the case. Otherwise he wouldn't be joining a team that already proved everything it could possibly prove without him, a month after its locker room leader repeatedly ****-kicked his teammate. Pretty lame of him, definitely makes me not like him as a player, and like the Warriors even less than I already did (I hate Draymond). Oh well.

I guess Derek Carr had a better sales pitch?

Well, now you're SECOND best on your own team.

I'd rather just see the NBA eliminate the 3-point line this season. That would take the wind out of GSW's sails awfully fast.

On this point, I'm repeating the oft-repeated conventional wisdom, so I'm not sure the source of the outrage. Maybe things need to be sugar coated for consumption. Maybe this is a more palatable presentation:

Greg Lee really is a professional troll. Oh, and seemingly a bigot to boot. He's not doing anything other than intentionally offending people and just pissing them off. Until now, I just thought that Greg Lee was a contrarian with viewpoints that, while a little off-kilter, had some merit. Not any more. He's been exposed, sport.

Aptly put. It's just so weak. I don't hate him or anything but I certainly respect him far less than I did before. I would've been totally cool if he decided to stay in OKC. This is just lame.
