Came home about 20 minutes ago and my roommate had ESPN on and they were talking about the concussion scandal. Stephen Asshat of all people went on a rant about how the NFL can't be trusted and if they were to lie about something this serious why wouldn't they lie in something like Deflategate. I was really surprised to hear it but the tide has definitely started to turn over the past couple months

I think the mediots are picking their spots on which topics to impale the NFL on. Social/human interest issues they will kill them. Anyone challenging the league- Goody and his brownshirts.

I believe that as well. They league wanted Bill. Either they couldn't manufacture a evidence trail or Bill played a chip and told the NFL if they came at him, corpses will be exhumed.

The point here is that the NFL was so determined to save face that it insisted on publicly humiliating two ball boys as a non-negotiable part of any settlement.

I truly believe in my heart of hearts that Roger Goodell is a pathological liar, an amoral megalomaniac and a despicable human being, but even I am surprised that he would be this ruthless in his pursuit of justifying his bizarre overreach in this embarrassing spectacle.

Kudos to Brady for refusing to be part of this outrage.

Brady has a simple, ironclad alibi: the truth. If nobody did anything, nobody did anything! You don't "negotiate" with someone trying to change it into a lie. Goodell's whole damn regime is predicated on situational ethics.

Either that or a birdie (read:"Patriots source") whispered something to Curran and he felt it justifiable to pass it along. I wouldn't be surprised if it was one or the other. One thing's for sure, all 3 of these men have shown BBB's in this whole thing...Big Brass Balls.

I am convinced that Roger was bullied when he was a child (I don't condone bullying in any way shape or form). The minute he was given the job as NFL commissioner he couldn't wait to act as judge and jury. His ego is getting the best of him and he can't think clearly when he has to hand down punishment for a violation. He is by far the worst commissioner in the history of all four sports leagues and second place isn't even close.

Nahhh....I just think he has always been and will be a total douchebag.
